Great songs and great album.

Not a best-seller but one of my favorites.

Yes true! I've always found "On s'est aimé à cause" one of Céline's best French songs ever! The melody and the lyrics are so...strong, so emotional. It had a little success on French and Belgian radio ten years ago and I can remember me immediately stopping what I was doing when that song was played.

 

A true gem...that should've been the lead single of the album, definitely! :-)

Couldn't agree more, I'm still waiting for a great live performance even an unplugged laid back version could do wonders. It's become my favorite Céline song

Well, she was not exactly a songwriter. She was mostly a novelist, wrote a few succesful plays and a minor number of songs.

A few years ago, she stated she had never heard of Celine once she was bought the lyrics she had written a long time before that by her team working on the D'elles project (so said Christine Orban, by the way) but that she was very proud of the songs. I don't remember if she appears in the EPK of the album...

I think she does not appear on the EPK. What I know for sure is that Céline speaks about her during the D'elles special on TVA. They show her in her living room talking about the two songs she had written for the album.

I really wish she would give ESNRQ another chance someday when she goes back touring.

I think it would sound waaaaay better awesome with the orchestra than the fail attempt during the TCWT

You’re welcome. There are tons more they need to fix. Honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised “Le miracle,” “3h20,” “Parler a mon pere,” and “Immensite” got fixed first before ones I thought would: “I Know What Love Is,” “My Heart Will Go On,” and “Save Your Soul,” for example.

I love this album and I believe Celine was at her best in terms of beauty. She was always gorgeous in this period.

Funny that they took the effort to film her to sing the songs in the studio.

Or maybe she did but René wanted it to dub it so it would sound like the album.

 

Love her hair though, reminds me very much of IWYTNM video.

 

The effort they did back then. Took it all for granted.

I would take such videos of Courage anytime above the PowerPoint lyrics posts.

 

Still I feel sad for her that these were the only times she could 'perform' the songs.

I prefer her to do a live version of On S'est Aime A Cause. I don't think Celine will be able to put A Cause live, and they are likely to kill the song as the did with FOMO. However, this remix could be a great interlude while Celine's changing.

What is postponed again? Celine is still set to resume the courage world tour in Denver on march 9th 2022, nothing new according to her website and other sites
