She has to be shooting the video- I don't care if it takes 15 minutes with her in front of a green screen but this song needs to get out there or else the album will really be vamoosed well before Christmas. release the bloody thing to radio at least. Rarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

They may release "A Cause" as a radio single at the end of August, then release the videoclip in September and finally release it as a radio single in October while Celine will be there for promoting it! Well...that's a suggestion...

D'elles is this week the Radio 2 CD, on the dutch radio channel erm Radio 2!

 

They even played ESNRQ this morning!! :woot: you can also win the CD.

 

Hopefully this will mean something for the sales in Holland! At least some promotion!

Are they ever going to release A Cause? I know she's on vacation now, but a lot of time has passed since Immensite which they released fairly soon after ESNRQ.

I have one stupid question. In my country i can't buy the limited edition. I have two options but for the second one i need help. The first one is to order it from amazon.com from USA (This is the easyest but it will take about a month) and the second option is to buy it from Paris because soon i will go there for vacation.I want to know from where in Paris i can buy it ?

Hi, the best way to buy D'elles in Paris is to do it in Fnac stores

 

Search for some locations of Fnacs in Paris

Another store I know is Virgin Megastore, those are the biggest music stores in all France

The thing is though it's already too late. The album is finished.

 

What may happen if they ever release "A Cause" is what happened when "I'm Alive" was released in 2002 - a very short spike in sales and then the album will fade away again.

 

As ever with Sony, they have waited too long.

An album never has to be "finished". In the case of "D'elles", instead of a strong first few weeks, they went for the long term. And that could work also....especially since it's a French album. It was a hit the first 2 weeks.. now it's down again. When "A Cause" gets released & Céline will be in France, it will once again reach the top. Then it will fall again....until Céline again comes back for her world tour, which will bring the album to the top once again. So it's really a different kind of strategy than mass promote the first weeks and then basically let it slip.. It's never too late.

I wonder if that was the strategy too with ANDHC waiting 5 months to release the 2nd single. Didn't work did it?

 

Maybe that was the stategy in the UK with the 1st single from One Heart - releasing it 6 months after the album was released.

 

Perhaps releasing "Have You Ever Been In Love" as the follow up to "I Drove All Night" was strategy too.

 

Or maybe just Sony don't know what to do.

 

I completely agree that an album is never finished, I should probably not have said that, but for it to have any life left in it the record company have to be pro-active and get behind it, something Sony just don't seem to want to do anywhere in the world with Celine's recent releases. I agree with you and have no doubt that Celine's presence in October and all next year will make for healthy sales but her record company should be making things happen too.
