Spent three hours in the dealership on Friday and officially bought my first new car! :)

It's a cute little 4-door black VW Golf TDI :P

Why do I miss all the juicy/controversial stuff whenever I take a few days out of here, most often not of my own free choice?

I was strongly considering participating in that drawing last year, not sure why I never did as I did have the money then...I think I know of the person that this happened to, she is so sweet and was so excited and I'm so sad :( for her. I have not seen either of them on here in a long time and wondered why...I'm very surprised by this as I did not suspect this at all in the person's character...the way I see it, to me, and you can call me naive if you want, Celine fans are not that kind of people. I understand desperation or what have you, but Celine is not like that and I think most of us are not either and never see this coming from other fans. I guess politics really do exist everywhere...but "love still exists" too and we MUST strive to remember and BE that!

Vic, I hope things improve. I'm actually a bit scared of what would happen to the forum if legal authorities got involved...and also concerned if we have to downgrade how that would affect those who access this site differently...While I really miss the multimedia section, I have absolutely no plans to jump ship anytime soon...

And Fernando...sounds like quite a hassle. So sorry to hear about this...

Does anybody know how long celine will stay in Las Vegas this go around,. Its been very quite lately.,, any idea

if they willl make a DVD recording of this show. would be nice if all us celine fans would be there, for the tapeing?

So, S isn't my projet intégrateur teacher. Even though I am a hint disappointed, I have to admitt I am mostly relieved, to be honest... I mean, it would of just been weird and she didn't look interested. It's going to be much less stressful. After all, the woman who is doing it is really nice too so it will be fun. :)

cant seen to get celine outa my mind lately. boy do I miss her, so much.

wish alot of memnbers would come back to the forum, not the same as when she was on tour. this Board was the place to be, Miss those days.

My old car needed some work done that was about half of the downpayment on a new car, so I just went ahead and got rid of it.

today we got the results of our first internal test, it was physiology... and i got a 10!! :D :D :D

it was a very simple test with 3 questions but i am still excited. :D

Tracey, I miss Celine incredibly, too. Anyone know when the next round starts? Probably after the holidays, like late December I would think, like last year. But yeah, I miss her a lot also, and I do think that if there is a taping, there really should be a lot of her fans there with her... :yes:

Edit: (how could I forget this, bad fan me!!!!) I can't believe "the babies" are already 2 today. My gosh, time flies, althoough no one probably thinks that as much/deeply/intensely as their proud mother. I think some of us will probably call them "the babies" until they're like, ten, but again, I bet their mother will, too.

I remember where I was The Minute I heard they were born. It was a Saturday and I was hanging with 2 friends who used to be fans. :( Anyway, one went to check Twitter and email and stuff, and the next thing I know, she lets out this loud shriek and then exclaims, "you go girl!" She then put on "Through The Eyes Of The World" and skimmed through it, skipping most of the English parts and only listening to stuff in French, (which I don't get because she doesn't speak a word of it.) She said that was her little way of celebrating with Celine.

When I heard, I cried but had to hide it from them. I know only a thousandth of a percent of what that meant to her, and while a lot of people wish she'd get back to her career more, I can never fault her for her happiness. Her happiness/joy is what translates in to her singing/performing and produces the amazingness (I know, not a word but is now!!!) that we continue to benefit from today.

I love you, Celine, and your sweet blessed little miracles!!!!! :wub: :throb: :heart:
