I have an outer ear infection (aka "swimmer's ear") on my left side. I went to the doctor today and she said my ear canal was really swollen. I work in a store and we have to wear these walkie-talkies with earpieces, which everybody shares, and I always wear mine in my left ear, so I think that's how I got it. Yuck.

 

Anyway, at least I had a nice Halloween and it's Friday tomorrow!

I just find this whole thing quite delicate because I know that there are certain ''normal'' questions that I probably can't really ask her for various reasons... I know that pretty much no one else notices or cares... All I want to do is listen to her if she wants to talk. She has helped me so much in the past few years, I feel (and I really do want to) help her... Anyway, it's somewhat complicated...

 

Cegep today was ok. I think I actually know what I want to study in. Litterature. Sounds quite fun ! Yes, I'm one of those weird people who love grammar and all that stuff !

3 more days to go but haven't had confirmation it's been sent yet so might be a couple more days for me to get the pre-ordered cds (I bought 3...2 deluxe and 1 standard edition so I can have a sealed copy of both in case anything goes wrong with open one lol )

Amanda, who did win last night? I missed it all and am SO bummed. We have antenna TV and my roommate is Always in the living room where we get that channel. Ran in to that lady at the bank I was telling you guys about last week...someone tell me if this is news to you and I did not share this. Anyway, she said she went on the website and looked it up right after I told her about Celine's new album. Then I showed her the heart of the ocean pendant I was wearing yesterday and she says, "you really are a big fan. You're crazy."

At first I was kinda a little offended, but then I thought, you know, it takes one to know one. Maybe we're not both crazy about the same thing, but she must have something as well that she is in to or she wouldn't be able to recognize it in me.

So anyway, I'm putting the word out/recruting fans for the new album Monday!!!!!! Can Not Wait!!!!!

And finally, having some problems with my cell phone but they should be fixed today, hopefully.

I don't know...we do have alcohol pads to clean the earpieces, but they're in the manager's office. I think they should put the pads in the break room, right next to the earpieces, so that people will remember to disinfect them. I ALWAYS will from now on! Thanks for the get-well wishes.

 

Christina, I don't know for sure because I wasn't there and didn't hear the tone of her voice, but it seems to me like the woman was playfully complimenting you. My friends and I sometimes joke around like that when one of us is really into something. She probably admires your passion, especially since she likes Céline too.

I have that same pendant but wouldn't wear it in case I lost it as it took me almost 4 years to find one for sale in UK In fact MOST of my Céline items never leave the house as I worry they'll be lost/stolen/damaged if I do The only thing guaranteed to leave the house wherever I go is my Belong perfume and if I forget to take it I buy a new one (happened more than once...rushed out the house and realised I hadn't sprayed any )

I've spent my entire life hoping and wishing to meet Céline but then when I sit and think about what I would actually say if I were lucky enough...I don't think any words would be enough ...chances are I would choke up and not say anything or I'd be banned from every venue Céline's performing in, for the rest of my life

Céline has been the ONLY constant in my life...she's the soundtrack that plays my every emotion without ever even knowing it, she makes my life better! I've not had the worst life but it also hasn't been easy and Céline has been there through all...helping through the lows, celebrating through the highs, and everything in between. I owe almost everything to Céline for I wouldn't be here without her, and my son, literally because they've gotten me through the worst of times and thoughts.

I count myself lucky to be a fan because what is life without something to look forward to, to hold on to, and to cherish

I love collecting sealed copies and I know that they're worth more to me than any money people could pay (I know people who buy extra/rare cds to sell at a higher price than they paid while I love bargains and would rather give my items to a true fan than sell them for money)

He hums Je Lui Dirai almost every day Although he now likes Le Miracle especially the end with the 'da, da, da's'

 

I've been in a similar position as the person who waited til Céline turned round to say something...only for me I couldn't even speak then as I was too awestruck to do anything but sing along to EVERY song and stare at her while she spoke I spent the entire concert on my feet with René just a few metres away and that will always be a great memory until I no longer exist

OMG, Zze, if he ever needs to know how fans feel about her, he just has to remember that night with you...When/where was this? Did other people call out/say something to her? If you could have, if you had like, 5 seconds to shout something out real quick, what would it be? For me, I would say either "I love you" or "we love you" but in French. You could say I'm a suck-up, but I'm not the only one...I do feel that way but it would be also because yeah, I will admit it, I would want her to notice me. And I guess maybe I'd be trying to show off just a little that I learned just enough in French to communicate with her in Her language...although a Brit speaking French, I bet that would sound lovely and she'd appreciate it.

Do you like her French or English better? Why? Either way, that night must have been beyond words...she is!!!!

I've been calling the stores since 11 when they opened, and no one will have the new album. One even told me they don't even see that she has one coming out. That actually really worries/freaks me out. One guy though, told me the French albums he does carry but OMG did he butcher the pronunciation of SSDA. Thank goodness she doesn't have to hear it, although I'm sure there's nothing new that she hasn't heard before. "our love, she has heard it all." LOL

But really, I don't have the ability to buy it online so I Need to find it in stores, somewhere in the San Francisco bay area.

It just feels like a test honestly, like, "what will you do to get to me", although I don't think she thinks like that. When TTEOTW came out, it was a similar difficulty getting to her, a nightmare to do so but I Did. And somehow, hopefully tomorrow or the next day, I Will again!!!!!!!!
