Edwin Posted November 9, 2010 at 02:57 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 02:57 PM *raises his glass* I am wrong in all the right ways
Bellamy Posted November 9, 2010 at 02:58 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 02:58 PM maybe your relatives are boring! Maybe. Also it's not easy to have no old friends and relatives live around. And maybe the restaurants, shopping... are boring comparing to Beijing. Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
Krys Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:01 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:01 PM Probably! It's almost the opposite of Beijing lol
J-Man Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:03 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:03 PM (edited) Good point Davey. Sydney is one of the biggest cities in the world, I don't think your relatives have experienced it properly. And I was talking about Melbourne anyway, not Sydney. Oh and of course don't forget Lonely Planet voted my home city of Cork one of the top 10 cities to visit in the world this year. Have to get the plugs in before January. Krys Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:08 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:08 PM Cork looks picturesque! One day, I shall go on a Eurotour lol
Edwin Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:14 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:14 PM As picturesque as OMAHA? I think not!
J-Man Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:16 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:16 PM Well maybe Omaha will be selected next year. http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png

Davey84 Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:35 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:35 PM I don't think any Dutch city is in any list! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
Claudette Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:52 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:52 PM I don't think any Dutch city is in any list! I've always wanted to go to Amsterdam. My supervisor (he has been there a few times) and I are working together with some people in Amsterdam on some projects, so hopefully I'll get a chance to go there soon... This afternoon I got a doughnut (and some red pens because I have to start marking next week). Oh my word, she has to stop now, I have to get in my swimsuit this weekend... http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
Davey84 Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:54 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:54 PM If you ever come to Amsterdam, we HAVE to meet up! it's not one of my fav cities though... It's nice but it aint my cup of tea http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
Edwin Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:54 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 03:54 PM The Hague and Amsterdam would be for most referenced Dutch cities in pop culture. After that, it's all countyside.
J-Man Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:12 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:12 PM I don't think any Dutch city is in any list! I think that depends in what kind of lists you are looking at. I imagine Amsterdam tops quite a few lists of dubious origins! http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png
Edwin Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:26 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:26 PM Seriously can't get over Pink's latest single. She's such a friggin legend. RAISE YOUR GLASS
Shamrock_1982 Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:37 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:37 PM The sky is amazing right now in London seriously... I wish I had a camera ( I forgot my fone, doh! )
J-Man Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:46 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 04:46 PM (edited) The Irish Apprentice was so comical lady night. Seriously, what a bunch of numb-nuts. It doesn't help that the Brigish one is running concurrently with it. You really see the difference in candidate quality. Bloomin' iphone makes half my posts look like I'm having a stroke That should read last and British Edited November 9, 2010 at 04:57 PM by J-Man http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png

It's nice but it aint my cup of tea We definitely have to make a plan. Let's just hope they don't decide to come to SA... With my luck that is probably what will happen. Apparantly Amsterdam is a lot like SA. Our languages are similar and they say the climate and stuff are also more or less the same. http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg

Well yeah the language is a bit similar, but if you'd talk real Afrikaans, I dunno if we could follow it all! and I don't think the climate is really the same! and don't worry, I aint got no plans of going to SA any time soon!
