We are almost halfway. :kicking: We are gonna eat some breakfast here in the mountains at Van Reenen's pass. It is freezing cold and there are a lot of fog. It is weird considering it is summer.

Aw,

Look after yourself, keep well wrapped up and have some lemsip or whatever you use. There are a lot of chest infections going around at the moment. Hopefully you won't be too sick.

thanks John! :hug: I was hoping for an early night, but I promised my sister I'll go to the Bon Jovi Concert/Special movie they are playing tonight in the cinema... and it starts at 9... and lasts two hours! :doh:

 

Maybe I can sleep during it! :giggle:

well why don't you see if she can get someone else to go instead. I'm sure there are lots of people who would love a free ticket, it is Bon Jovi after all. (How can you not like Bon Jovi Davey)

And then you can watch Oh Cheritzo, or whatever its called, like you wanted to.

What is it with this Bon Jovi movie. It shows here too this week. I can't believe we got that in cinemas, but they didn't want to show Celine. :angry:

 

We just got here and I absolutely love the view. The front of the house faces the ocean. Totally awesome!

That's true. At my age a Dutch flu could finish me off!

 

Really stormy weather on the way. I've stocked up on firelighters and sorted my wood for the night (don't even go there!) now I'm gonna have a movie day. Having a Martin Scorcese marathon with a friend. Cape Fear, The Departed, Raging Bull, maybe Casino or Aviator then if there's time.

What's the Dutch Drama queen whining about today? *runs away*

 

In other news, I've listened to Wide Awake about twice now and the title track has resonated with me. I wasn't expecting that. I think Ambitions is still my fav song tho.

Davey, I didn't know that Deutsche and Dutch were very similar in the language. My teacher told me that those two are closer than either of them being closer to either French or other European languages. That kinda surprised me. :hmm:

 

EDIT: Edin, my fav is the title track. The drum claps, the lyrics (although a little weird) and the haunting vocals when he sings the chorus is just too :in_love:

My car had frost on it this morning. Winter is a-comin! Wonder when we will have our first snow fall. I should have seen it coming, my hands are in need of lotion and I kept forgetting to bring some into work all week long.

The winter is also late down here. Usualy this time of the year we make plans to go ice skating. Yesterday was the first day I saw snow this season. :huh: But I'm not complaining, last winter was the most severe winter in like a hundred years!

 

Broke my record today - one hour biking! :jump:

Walked down to the beach this afternoon (:lol: it still looks the same as 7 months ago). I love watching the waves roll out. It is so relaxing, and there is nothing better than a sea breeze to clear your head.

 

Ester, you have to visit us more, we missed you... Get better soon!
