Today is our last day here and I want to spend it on the beach. We couldn't swim today because it was a bit rainy. Heard a scary story this morning. Apparantly three children went out in a little paddle boat at the beach close to our house yesterday, and the boat tipped over and they ended up underneath it and couldn't get out. All three drowned. They were 2, 9 and 17, and they didn't have life jackets on. It just goes to show you how easy it can happen. I mean, where were their parents, and why didn't they have life jackets on? I am 25 and my parents would never let me go out with a boat without a life jacket. My dad would have a heart attact. No life jacket, no boat, as simple as that. Two years ago me and my friend went out with a rubber duck and I fell off the side (I was sitting on the side because we were rowing) and thankfully I had a life jacket on. I used to have braces when I was like 12 I guess, cause I had a few teeth that were not straight. Well then I should've continued with another kind of braces, but I didn't want to, and now that I'm grown up, I regret it SO MUCH!! At the time I was like "yeah yeah, I won't mind the cosmetic effects".. yeah right. What did I know at 12?!? My parents should've just forced me. Cause nowadays I have a huge rip between my upper and lower teeth, so that I can't even bite everything properly (cause my teeth don't "meet" enough ), and one tooth that's like behind the other.. and I would really like to do something about it! Guess I sould go to a dentist....
