Claudette Posted November 9, 2010 at 05:08 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 05:08 PM (edited) If you ever come to Amsterdam, we HAVE to meet up! it's not one of my fav cities though... It's nice but it aint my cup of tea We definitely have to make a plan. Let's just hope they don't decide to come to SA... With my luck that is probably what will happen. Apparantly Amsterdam is a lot like SA. Our languages are similar and they say the climate and stuff are also more or less the same. Well yeah the language is a bit similar, but if you'd talk real Afrikaans, I dunno if we could follow it all! and I don't think the climate is really the same! and don't worry, I aint got no plans of going to SA any time soon! No I meant the guys working with us on the project. I meant that they would probably come to us with my luck and then I would lose out... I always thought that we have a similar climate. Does it rain a lot in Amsterdam like in some other European countries? Edit: And I would probably also have a hard time following you, but I can follow a bit as long as you talk slowly... Edit 2: We are on the 4th page for today. Edited November 9, 2010 at 05:16 PM by Claudette http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
Davey84 Posted November 9, 2010 at 05:16 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 05:16 PM hmm yeah it rains a lot, but it's also cold a lot! I think SA would be hotter over all... haha yeah maybe if we both talk slowly we'll both understand each other, as long as I don't mention caravan and you don't mention sleurhut! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

Aaw, so sooon My brother was born on dec 25th, can't be fun (but at least swedes celebrate on the 24th) "Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me..." Is that what you guys call a caravan? In Afrikaans it is a karafaan. Yeah, I guess we have a warmer climate, but believe me our Winters can olso get freezing cold. Edwin Posted November 9, 2010 at 05:43 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 05:43 PM Frida: I saw the first two movies from the The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo triology and Lisbeth ends her emails with //. I was like OH MY GOD. It must be a Swedish thing. In other news, where the heck can I buy either french photobooks at a good decent price. Meaning the shipping to here won't be half as much as the book itself. I dont have either yet, and I'd also like to use it as the final month prize.

Edwin Posted November 9, 2010 at 06:06 PM Posted November 9, 2010 at 06:06 PM Yep Frida. I kept thinking of you since it was Swedish and all. And then when I saw that scene //Lisbeth I LOLed IRL. I think archambault will be cheapest. Gonna check and see their pricing on the other book that has yet to be released in English as I was told many moons ago.
