Mozinha Posted September 4, 2005 at 03:02 AM Posted September 4, 2005 at 03:02 AM Once again and more than ever, I am so proud to be a Celine Dion fan. I could open the window now and scream this to the whole world. That was just amazing to see her true feelings coming out... no pretending, no smile to the camera.... It was just Céline angry, mad and so sorry because there are people dying out there and they don't even have water and she feels like more can be done. I could feel her frustration so close, she seems to feel she could do more than give the money. That was a woman out there speaking out, not a singer, not a diva, just a human being like me and you... She is a remarkable woman, a woman of heart. I wish more people, including myself, would have that heart and that strenght. I'm so impressed.... I could have never imagined this. Thanks so much for that Céline. We love you more than ever... Kay Posted September 4, 2005 at 03:04 AM Posted September 4, 2005 at 03:04 AM Ok...let me get the shallow comment over with...SHE LOOKS GORGEOUS! Now... I'm SO glad that she was not "politically correct" in this interview! I'm SO glad that she voiced her opinion and didn't hold it back! I've never seen Celine get this emotional about anything, even when her father died she held it together in front of the cameras, but WOW! The emotion in her voice, I knew she would cry, but I didn't expect her to go that far...thank you Celine! She has just expressed everything that I've been feeling since this happened! I do understand by what she means about the check, she feels that she wants to be in there helping and getting these people food and water and clothes, she knows it will help, but she means that if they are not going to send helicopters and boats in there to get people out, then what is the point in having the money to do so! I have to say that it really touched me when she talked about keeping from RC just how bad this is, and what she said about the mothers over there. It brought tears to my eyes to hear here say that, because it is so true. We are all over here safe and healthy saying how horrid this is and "feeling" for these people, but we have no idea what it is like for a mother who has to watch her baby starve, without any clothes, or a mother who doesn't know where her child is. I can't even image the pain and the sorrow they are feeling! I think I always knew that she felt this way about the war, but she has never expressed it. It is exactly how I feel. The US can afford to send planes full of soldiers over to Iraq and all those places, to help those people over there, and to kill people, and it gets done so fast...but when people in their own country are suffering and dying, trapped in their own houses, desperately searching for loved ones, they can't do anything. Those troups have to go through a lot worse then a few feet of water before, I've seen the food trucks going down the streets, well forget that! Bring those trucks in empty and get those people out! If they can get things in they can get people out! What Celine said, I just love this woman even more! In everything else she has done lately it's been singing a song or reading off of a teleprompter or whatever, but this time she did an interview and she expressed what she truley felt! It feels so GOOD to have our old Celine back, the one that doesn't care what people think about her, she just says what she feels! Also I have to say that "The Prayer" was a perfect song choice for what is going on, and I can't believe she sounds so good...and that's when she's been crying is is angry and upset! She sounded just beautiful! Quote kylamariehttp://i9.tinypic.com/5358piw.png

ashleylovesceline Posted September 4, 2005 at 05:16 AM Posted September 4, 2005 at 05:16 AM Wow. I wanted so much to jump into the TV and give her a hug, she was so overcome with emotion. I new she would be emotional, because she wears her heart on her sleeve. I didn't expect for her to be that emotional though. Obviously she hasn't had much of an outlet for all her emotions because she's trying to be so strong for René-Charles. I want to applaude her for speaking her mind, and I have to say I completely agree with her. Except she should be so proud that she has donated one million dollars to the cause, because although the progress is so slow, her money will make a difference. She is helping, even though it doesn't seem like enough for her. I don't know about all of you, but she was in my thoughts tonight during the hour and a half she is performing. It must have been so difficult for her to go onstage and put a smile on her face when she is obviously so upset about all of this. She is such a professional, and I am so proud to be her fan. Quote

They spend tons of money and send soldiers to other country to kill people in one day, while they can't rescue their own citizens who are suffering the Hurricane. and I saw on news, there're many soldiers in New Orleans who are ready to shoot anyone who will steal or snatch anything. don't they know, they steal or snatch, cause they have nothing to live. Can't they just help to get water and food for those people, or get them out of that hell place. at least, I know Chinese army is always ready to rescue our people when there's any disaster.Celine, I'm really proud of you can spoke it out to millions people in front of TV.
