Every test indicated cancer and she had a very large mass in her abdomen which seemed to be a growth from the ovarian area. She finally had surgery on March 8. When the surgeon told me he had very bad news, I expected to hear ovarian caner ... advanced stage ... months to live. But that's not what he said ... he told me that she had no small intestines ... that the blood flow had been cut off at some point ... that the small intestines had completely died and decayed inside her ... that they didn't know how she had survived the 3 weeks in the hospital ... that there was no hope ... no chance that she could survive ... the day after the surgery, she was conscious, but heavily sedated and on a ventilator, the next day she was in a coma and died. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know you, but I wanted to express to you my sorrow for such an enormous loss.
