Yes, the questions were pre-planned but he says it wasn’t as rigid as he expected. It took just over a hour, done via video from her home in Vegas, about a month ago. (Though this doesn’t seem like someone who knows her well if he’s surprised by her randomly breaking into song!)

A preselection of questions is odd to me because of the questions they choose. Also, that they chose to not ask or bring up the doc.

 

I really wonder if this breaks the ice for Celine and if she’s willing to be seen on camera soon for some sit-down interviews or will this, in addition to “ I Am: Celine Dion” do all the talking she wishes to share on her health journey.

I mean she and her team had strategically chosen Vogue France and for her comeback to target/reach the Francophone market specifically and for it to be fashion related so they can control the image/look if Celine now in this new comeback era.

 

Maybe she’ll do something Olympics related since it’s in Paris and she’s speaking for Team Canada…and sang the song that was supposed to be the official song back when if Paris had won the bid to host. Like Luke said, it’s been a long time and maybe we’ll get a summer Celine French ep if not a full album. I don’t think she’ll tour or do a 90 minute set again, but dropping a French album would be perfect if she’s been recording. 🙃

 

*I wrote this not seeing the other thread or Red Head speculation, but it makes sense. She is like the global ambassador to French music and is having a moment in all cultures, which is very rare.

She looks absolutely stunning and high in spirits. Totally different energy than when she announced her illness. I think she is just being prudent because is a rare disease but she's got the right treatment for sure and it shows. Even from Grammys to this photoshoot you see a huge improvement.

But I rekon that after the doc. airs she will announce a Vegas residency but… on the scale of what Adele currently does, for now until she sees how it goes, so it’s not 5 nights a week or several months at a time… just to ease her back in.

 

But the hype online for her currently is incredible it shows just how much she is missed, not just by us the die hards, but by a wide range of different people globally.

I honestly wouldn't be that surprised... don't want to get hopes up, but Vogue was definitely hinting at it with their piece today.

 

Also, a pretty “reliable” source in my opinion told me so, I don’t want to give them up as I don’t get info often from them and would like not burn that bridge if they found out. Also with her illness anything could probably change at any second l; But stay tuned for May 6.
