Michael Jones, a Welsh singer who lives in France, and part of the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones (formed by Michael Jones, French singer-songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman and American singer Carole Fredericks) revealed in an interview that he is working on an album for which Celine will record a song too!!

 

Sur le deuxième album, il y aura Carla Bruni, Patricia Kaas et Céline Dion. C’est le seul album sur lequel il y aura Céline Dion d’ici deux ans, elle a accepté de le faire pour nous. 

 

On the second album, there will be Carla Bruni, Patricia Kaas and Celine Dion. This is the only album on which there will be Celine Dion in two years, she agreed to do it for us.

So she will cover a song from Goldman.

The first album of the project was released this January.

If it's like this I can't wait to hear what song she will cover.

The first album was in the gospel music style. The second album with Celine is in the Celtic music style. Maybe she will record PQTME in the Celtic music style? Edited by comingback

Interesting: JJG and D. Warren wrote the song Quand J'ai Peur De Tout (album: Dans ma chair 1997) for P. Kaas. The Sugababes recorded the song in English : Too Lost In You. Edited by comingback

This is a tribute album supervised by Micheal Jones, not exactly a Michael Jones album.

Volume 1 was made available a few months ago and part 2 will follow. Hi didn't say what song from JJG's own repertoire she picked. I truly hope it will be a good one : "Comme toi" would be amazing sung by Céline.

Thanks! I edited the title. It will be very interesting to find out which song she picked. Comme Toi would be lovely indeed! But it would also be fun if she did Quand La Musique Est Bonne! :D

 

but most song will sound better than JJ singing them... :shifty: :giggle:

Somehow I’m afraid that it will be something like The show must go on studio version, but I hope that they will prove me wrong. Unfortunately the quality of her singing deteriorated strongly. Only Ashes was a big exception. Edited by ryba

I think Courage (the song) is well produced and her voice sounds great on it, which isn't the case for the rest of the Courage album. I really hope, that she will have great producers for her next songs/albums.

I don't know, for me the whole courage album is well produced, better than superwoman. But maybe Diane warren wanted it that way, superwoman is about not wanting to be perfect, so the song is also "not perfect", atleast for some here. I don't mind, I like it

I think Diane got away with that excuse with unfinished songs (although I do love that song!).
