It's not that I am complaining about those video teasers but it's so weird that they built so much hype for her comeback announcement and since her birthday the official accounts haven't posted anything substantial, not even that the sale for tickets has begun, that there are additional shows or that it's sold out... Nothing from Celine being excited about that fact nor her team. It's been more than two weeks already.

I’ve found that weird too… since they deleted everything they haven’t posted ANYTHING  except for on her birthday!  Especially since they more active then ever before the insta wipe!

Is their focus now on the new singles?  We have no idea what’s in store.  If we were lady gaga fans we would know everything would be done perfectly, but we know this team and we are worried it will be sub par.

Classic Celine Dion management since approximately 2003 sadly. They have massive opportunities in the palm of their hands so many times.

Album anniversaries, fricking Olympic Games opening ceremony performances, viral moments on social media, the biggest live concert comeback ever….

They do nothing to build on anything each and every time. Why are we even remotely surprised? Classic.

I am happy with how her comeback is handled. They give us just enough to keep the momentum going, but not too much to kill anticipation.

They are not complete strangers. There's Marie S'infiltre (Marie Benoliel). She used to do pranks, and also a fake antisemitic attack against her (not a prank). She also had her show on stage in which she provided self-development advice and many people complained as they expected a comedy show. Then she retired. So my guess is that the video was shot a long time ago and probably by a foreign team (not French) not knowing about this controversial figure.

I agree but 10 hours? It’s longer correct? It’s only 2:30am Thursday in Paris , it’s still about 22 hours away.

 While I understand you, I think you don't realize what last week has been (at least, in the french speaking countries). 

Céline was literally EVERYWHERE. It was pure madness. I had never seen this global embrace for anyone. 

You couldn't see a tv show, an interview, whatever without a hint to Céline. Even when topic was not Céline, Céline was the subject. 

To be honest, it was ridiculous and too much. It looked like a bunch of sheeps... 

TC didn't have to do anything else : the whole world did it for them. 

Adding on that would have been strategically a mistake, with a risk of backlash. 

People think ( and I do as well) this was over the top but at the end of the day, Céline did only 1 video 🤣

Haha I doubt that. They said that probably 3 singles will be released before the concerts in Paris. And that the album will follow later this year or even early 2027. That indicates to me that the album itself isn't finished yet. Which I don't mind too much, I'd rather have a solid album than a hotchpotch of songs!

And probably Celine will finish recording it in Paris, as she did with Encore Un Soir.

That would be awesome and something really unexpected and original for once.

 

I honestly don't get the idea of releasing an album after the beginning of the tour or after the tour. We saw in 2016 and in 2019 that it didn't really work out well. Nobody knew the songs. You could see that in 2017 tour EUS as an album was much more appreciated.

 

I also know longevity these days doesn't exist anymore but I am also wondering why they would mention three singles right from the start, like they don't feel like the first song is that strong that it could hold the hype?

It’s a very good possibility because the more I think about it, why bring press to a location for a  listening session just for a single and then say they can’t talk about it till the release.

This usually happens at an album listening session, but I could be wrong!
