I thought PMLALS was written by Diane Warren and Bonnie Greenberg? Wasn’t this information confirmed last summer or I’m dreaming ?

 

On a side note, all the songs written by Diane Warren for Celine didn’t make the final cut on Courage and that’s a good thing since all her songs from the past 10 years suck.

If this song didn't make the album, would that be part of Irit's MO to release a snippet just to make us all mad it's not there? Hence Celine's surprised reaction when that fan mentioned it a few weeks ago outside one of the arenas?

 

In regards to Diane Warren...I never saw anything about actual, confirmed songs she would have on the album.

 

In the snippet, before it cuts out and goes back to the chorus again (before we hear the word tonight) it's sounds like the line should be "Play me like you're breaking...." I wonder if that was leading into a verse with the actual title?? Just a random thought I had.....

For me, my bet is The Chase, during the part where the song was cut, I think I heard the "-ase", then it was "stay within your..."

I just re-listened to it and it almost sounds like "home tonight....stay within your arms, nothing will divide us...."

 

That brea-sound before it cuts out....it sounds like it could be breaking or brave or some word that sounds like that the beginning.... "Play me like your brea....." to me breaking seems like it would fit better there, at least off the top of my head....

 

The Chase could be it if it's more referencing a chase of some sort and she's saying something about staying home tonight, stay within your arms....

 

But also looking at that line, if that's really what it is, it could be For The Lover That I Lost: stay home tonight, stay within your arms, nothing will divide us....

 

Really, none of us knows what it is and the speculation is driving us all nuts!!

Well, leaks happened before. Maybe it was just miscommunication? Maybe it was supposed to be teased differently or later.

 

On the other hand JNPDB snippet featured no title in snippet of the song itself altough title was known. Maybe 'PLMLALS' has its tilte in different song part.

I mean, read all the comments on the audio leaked, everybody was shocked about how beautiful the song is. How Celine's voice sounds, how much emotion she put on every line of it.

 

It's the first time in YEARS that a little snipet moved me and all of us this way. It brings the "french Celine" into the anglo market it the best way possible.

I fell in love instantly ❤

 

It's sounds SO big, so emotional, so epic, it is just like a soundtrack from an epic movie for me.😍😍

I’ve noticed that “Irit” likes all of Celine’s posts - not that she can’t be a fan, but i have a feeling this song is on there - I hope at least - I tweeted one of the writers or producers about Lovers Never Die so maybe I will get a reply(I doubt it though)

Let’s not forget that, even with a running time under three minutes, “Lover Never Die” is supposed to be the one that sounds like a Bond theme.. which I think is weird, because songs that epic usually run closer to 4-5 minutes

I’m thinking if Lovers Never Die is under 3 mins then it surely isn’t PMLALS, as to me, even from that small clip we heard, this is a definite soaring ballad and it looks to me like this album won’t have any of those type ballads as all songs seem too short.

 

It may be that the album is too modern for this song to have been chosen, although I liked what I heard, it does sound fairly dated, like a 90’s power ballad really so I can see why it perhaps hasn’t made the final cut.

 

My guess from the song durations as revealed on itunes, is that this album is going to be full of modern pop songs with repetitive lyrics as per today’s standard. I will be slightly disappointed if no big ballads as per her old style are included but just as long as the songs are good, that’s the main thing, I guess

Sorry, but I don't get the whole Bond fuss. Might be that it reminds the listeners of a Bond song but other than that a Bong song is nearly always (definately that applies to all Danial Craig Bond films) named after the film title. And next years film called "No Time To Die".

 

Celine had her heydays and was not asked to deliver a song for a Bond film in the 90s. So why would they now?!

 

She simply is not edgy and cool enough for the bond producers and Sony is not pushing them to consider Celine, unfortunately.

 

Regarding the inclusion into the new album Jeanette is right I guess..

Generally I would agree, but there are quite a few songs which do not share the same name as the Bond film, like All Time High or Nobody Does It Better.

And not certain that Chris Cornell was such a hot commodity when he sung his Bond song.

And now everyone thinks she is doing a Bond song, or that PMLALS is the Bond song, and that it definitely lasts more than 3 minutes because you can make that up from the 30 seconds we heard.

 

May I remind you that Die Another Day was also a Bond song, and is absolutely in no line with Skyfall, Goldfinger etc.
