i think i kinda agree with some of the comment...this song will not gonna make it to the new english album nor will be the lead single for the album.

 

the reason the release of the live version is mainly due to to wrap up the vegas show.

I think is Electronic Dance Music... ala David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Aviciii, Calvin Harriss... etc.. It's like if Rihanna would have release first a "live" version of We Found Love and then the studio version... I think nobody is interested in a live version of We Found Love.... because its all about fine studio electronic production...

If some can't relate on why we want a studio version than orchestral version for this kind of music.. you should watch beyonce's concert (try the one in netflix "homecoming" even though that it's live they can still replicate the studio instrumentals with a huge amount of bass than a flat sound and not making it sound like a midioke. It will sound boring) and Madonna's Rebel Heart DVD..

 

You'll hear the huge difference. So, i hope after this residency show they level up in sounds too since they picked this kind of genre.

yeah they just ruin it for themselves... i don’t get what their strategy is these days..i just don’t..

 

the way it works is; first a lyric video with the studiotrack to get the fans excited..than a proper music video...and then perform the song live to get them excited to buy the studiotrack and the upcoming album and perform the songs in the tour, also to get them excited to buy the album and or dvd from the tour.

Madonna knows how it works and she has treated her fans on many new songs in a short amount of time ( not that i like all of them) and she has performed some of them as well, to get them excited for her upcoming album.

And it is all in the way you present it. The way team Celine has handled it has made the chances of being it a hit to zero.

The live version will already be on the radio and at the time the studioversion arrives nobody is interested in that version anymore, except us fans who buy the album anyway.

The original track has been carefully produced and has a proper beat and would work so well now summer is near! stupid stupid stupid. And even if they release the studiotrack in the next couple of weeks it gives confusion to the djs on the radio that already played her livesong and to their listeners.

And to let this work in a live setting she should work with a live dj on stage.

yes you are right. In the Vegas vegas the drums are so much softer and completely overpowered by the bassline,I know this process , it is called sidechaining. A process that pushes the bassdrum through the bassline. If you do not use sidechaining the bassline gets the most attention - result is no pumping kickdrum. plus there are more sounds in the refrain that you do not hear in the live version. The live version sounds dull whereas this studiotrack sounds fresh. Sorry why not releasing the studiotrack Celine?

I loved listening to the full version of the song, they are using the same strategy as LBTL and it will not work, the media no one talks about the new music of Celine Dion, in the visualizations and streming the music is going badly and that is not good, I get sad. Sony releases a video clip, interviews the national networks talking about the new music.

After all this hype around Céline lately they've got it all on a silver platter.... and what do they do? Mess things up as usual.

Wow, CHILL guys.... can't we just enjoy this moment? Céline is EVERYwhere at the moment. She's in the press with a few different headlines ("End of residency", "Stops show to let fan pee", "Fans being concerned about her being skinny" (sigh) and "Debuting new song"), just ended her 16 (!!) year residency, released a new song (in whatever form) and we have a new WORLD TOUR, a unique open air show and a new album and possibly more to look forward to. Except for the '90's, she has never been as popular and HOT as she is right now. And we're complaining about a live version x studio version?! We'll GET that studio version (eventually), don't worry. And I know, we all want her to have a big hit, but realistically we know it ain't gonna happen. For all we know we're getting it next week and we'll get remixes the week after, etc. etc. It's SO easy to complain about every small detail, but what for? You're just ruining your own fun/pleasure.....

 

Let's just follow our Queen's lead (see her face and happiness after her FOMO performances and dancing at her afterparty and at Omnia) and enjoy everything that we're getting the coming 1,5 years (at least!!).

I bought the song on iTunes. But I've been listening to it on YouTube to help streaming. Love it!

And with headphones, there is a lot more bass and sounds... which I hadn't heard when I first listened to the song without headphones.
