As if Céline and her team cared about anything else!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

 

I knew -we all knew- that another new tour was 200% more possible to come first than the announcement of a new album release. But having the fourth (4th) tour in three years on a row settled again before finishing a new album that is taking 6 years in the making, when she was used to recording one within 2 weeks, is... a bit too much, to say the least? :rolleyes:

 

And no don't come with the old mantra "she has changed priorities" and similar, because it only takes one much of a change of priorities when you are a singer and you're supposed to record new music and sing new songs from time to time...

 

This is just about money, L'Oreal is about more money, and all her latest projects are about making more money, but the artistry and passion as a singer... where did it go?

 

Sorry to be a downer but I'm not excited at all with the announcement of a new tour (AGAIN) -_-

The tour wouldn’t have an actual title if it weren’t for an album. They would have simply went with “Celine Dion Live 2019” as they have for the past few summer tours. There’s definitely things happening this time around.

yes Javito! I'm glad you posted here too. It really is a shame that she very rarely mentions anything about who writes for her, how certain songs made her feel when she recorded them etc. It has recently been like this: waiting for years for new music, Celine is recording, everything is a big secret, album release, hardly any footage from the recording studio, just a few seconds of promotional clips, a few interviews talking about her kids and singing one new songs and some old hits, 14 brothers and sisters and I didn't want to record My heart will go on.

 

As a long time fan, I want to know how she prepares for her recording sessions, what her routine is, how she picked the songs for the new album, how they determined the direction for this new album etc. I want a proper, long documentary about recording all songs and her comments (like back in the days or even better). That's what i expect as a fan of Celine, the singer.

Just wait and see. They were in the days of Rene. I don’t think she’ll be promoting new songs alongside BYLM this time round

In what ways do you mean? Like she won’t be singing new songs or will but not as many hits?

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

Waiting 6 years and having her teasing us since late 2016 with pictures in the studio for something that never arrives is not enough "wait" already?

I mean how last time round, it seems she was promoting her new music on tv shows and then would randomly sing BYLM or something as well

I still think this album could be released before the tour.

 

Only thing after June on the calendar is Hyde Park in the UK thus far.

 

I’m gonna bet she takes a little time off in between and probably start the North American tour in early or late fall, and we are hearing the album will be out in fall so very possible it could be before, or even during the tour!

If the first single is released tomorrow, I wonder why they chose a Wednesday and not a Friday (or at least a Thursday) when singles normally come out to get a full sales week to impact the charts. :o Edited by Xpresso

Facebook live streams are automatically uploaded to your facebook wall a few minutes after the stream ends

This Facebook live thing is Celine and team streaming a special event in LA to everyone tuned in at 6pm ET/3pm PST. You need to be logged into Facebook and be on Celine's official page before/at that time to catch it live if you prefer. :)

If they are smart they would take advantage of all this media frenzy to launch the new single! Why launch a tour at such a special event if there's nothing "new"? We all knew a tour was coming. Edited by Xpresso

This is all so exciting!

 

They are really going all in to kickstart this next chapter in Celine's life & career. She is clearly ready to say goodbye to Vegas and onto new things! And this moment deserves to feel BIG for both her and all of us fans!!!

If the people who get to attend the event tomorrow get tickets to the tour a la Oprah and Ellen, I will be pissed I couldn’t figure out how to go to it. LOL
