lol thanks! No, I'm not her I know that Celine is her biggest idol. You can also clearly see that she copies her a lot (or at least in the past). Therefore I got interested in her career and I must say that I really enjoy what she offers nowadays. I even think that she surpassed Celine (not vocally, that's for sure), but when it comes to creating a show she is miles ahead of Celine. But not just Helene, a lot of artists offer way more. I think Celine should try too keep up with the current standards, we know she can, she already updated her image, not it's time for a musical and visual update of her performances (and again, it's not even Celines job, but her team should be more ambitious in this regard. Yes, I agree with you! Celine could sing some of her fan favourites and make them visually stunning and even her casual fans would also enjoy these songs. A great way to please everyone.

Indeed! Even though I love hearing her voice live, the music and sound isn't up to par. There's no nuances. It's like she has a wall of noise behind her. And infact that wall - even though it included an orchestra (!) - sounds pretty cheap. Her beautiful instrument should be surrounded by something that enhances it and the experience, not muffle it

Id say, from what shes paid in Vegas, she probably gets 50%-60% of whatever the concerts gross was.

I have read a Billboard article few years ago stating that an artist usually get +/- 50% of the gross revenue once everyone is paid. It depends on the artist, stage production, producers etc. She must be one of the artists that get the most since the production costs should be pretty low and she's in a position to get the best deal with the producer.

She's not paid dependent on the final gross though - at least not when "touring".

 

She'll receive a promoter's fee for each promoter she partners with - for e.g. she might say I want $750,000 for each venue. She will potentially then participate in a profit-share on the venue profits. Example:

 

$2,000,000 gross:

 

- $750,000 Celine fee.

- $350,000 promoter fee.

- $300,000 costs.

- $200,000 taxes and fees.

 

That would leave $400,000 for a profit share between Celine and probably the promoter.

 

Crude example but the point being that the vast bulk of Celine's income from the tour is probably determined before she's even started to perform.

That came to my mind after reading Pepe interview (written) in Spanish

stating shortly about the Tour "those who have followed her recently won't be dissapointed"

and then bam those photos came up on her official accounts. Yes, I think she enjoy changing

clothes now more than doing music lol, for her it will be a short "fashion show" during... the Tour:)

Quite honestly I don’t see why she couldn’t pull off something like those looks for the tour! For the stage the looks are always dramatic and eccentuate her best features. And she always has some to switch out and play around with. So I don’t see why not! It’s abour her voice after all I thought?

Can't agree more. Like I wrote in the "A new day has come"-thread that I find her band really boring and that they don't add anything to the performances. I've been thinking this for years now. So this is one thing I'm curious about with this tour how or if they will update the music and sound. I think if they did it would take the songs one or two steps up. Since I think Celines performances of most songs have been great or good in terms of not keeping them old or at least too old.

Honestly as long as she won't be dancing half naked/with half naked men

on stage just like other female singers do today and it just makes me sick, the show will be ok with me.

 

The Avant-garde looks aren't nothing but her having fun and being a different character each time

so I don't see any problem if she will use it for the Tour. It actually might be cool and freshy.

At least she will give people what to talk about. I loved it when it happened in Paris

when she created all that buzz around her with the sometimes strange clothes.
