oh PERTH??? oh shoot wrong country, oops my bad lol... i just DO remember seeing & hearing that video before during the 2018 tour & it was filmed @ one of the countries she was touring @ back then... so we both have confirmed that it is NOT a new video...

 

like i said, since march when the pandemic started, EVERY SINGLE PIC & VIDEO from celine HAS BEEN RELEASED BEFORE... i know because i have seen those online, through google, yahoo, celine fan groups & pages on facebook, instagram, twitter, videos on youtube, etc... (& probably even MOST LIKELY on this forum too in the past, but i had only discovered this forum during this past march when my job was closed for a little while because of the pandemic, it was REALLY NOT a good time in my life as i had to refund my celine dion tickets to the washington DC concert that was supposed to be on my birthday on march 11th but was cancelled, because i did not know how long i would be out of work & i needed to make sure i had enough $$ to feed my 2 special needs children & pay the bills, & i really needed to look up something to keep my mind from some of the worries i had during that super stressful time, so i started looking up online forums... & low & behold i found this forum yaaay!!! but anyway lol...)

 

& i am pretty sure most of the real fans (the ones like those of us on this forum who read info online about celine on a regular basis & therefore have seen these pictures & videos on her social media accounts before (& as well on other fans social media accts & groups too!!!) while these pics & videos might be considered "NEW" to the general public (haha lol,) but most of us true long-term celine fans do know so much BETTER right lol... 😉😊

I keep saying she should do an unplugged show! Honestly the recording equipment is good enough now where she doesn't have to go in a studio to sound amazing....

oh shoot you are right about thevideo, it IS an older video... because when i first watched it, im like ok cool, & FINALLY there is a new video from celine after over 6 months of pandemic... but then i was like, hmmm ok this kinda looks familiar, & now i am thinking like "OH RATS!" lol...

 

& now i do remember when & where that video is from, its "all coming back to me now" haha (pun intended lol!) celine filmed that during the "asian 2018 tour" & i think it was while she touring either in japan or in macau (SO SORRY if i misspelled the name of that country, i am @ work right now & cant look it up atm,) when she filmed that video...

 

i know its been a pandemic for the past 6 months or so... but even though she is @ home, why cant she @ least post 1 NEW PICTURE or post 1 NEW VIDEO? i understand she is most likely NOT going to many places @ this time (& if indeed touring, residencies, etc WILL NOT be back for another few years, i dont know how she will cope being mostly stuck in the house, i am sure @ some point she will be BORED OUT OF HER MIND & so will the boys, i know I WOULD BE after 3+ or whatever amount of years lol...) but i am still VERY sure she could post something NEW on her social media accounts once in a blue moon instead of hiding...

 

she keeps posting old pictures & videos all from previous photoshoots or from previous tours, etc... but NOTHING NEW since march, which yes she is entitled to do as she pleases, but come on celine, like i already said, can you please give us one new pic or one new video or something??? can you please THROW US A BONE OR FEW lol haha!!!

 

I assumed immediately it wasn't a current video, since it's like....why would she randomly be in a hotel? lol.

 

But....I am just glad the average viewer out there will get to hear her amazing voice.

That’s what her team is for. She doesn’t even post this stuff let alone “dub” anything. They may have told her to sing it acapella and added it later. I wish she were more involved in terms of her social media but the fact is everything she posts is heavily produced by her team so why would we start believing now that it isn’t? How often do we see a post from Celine from home or backstage that isn’t a professional photo that they upload at a later date? Never.

I doubt that anything she’s ever posted with maybe the exception of that first “selfie” was ever taken by Celine herself, and even that was most likely coached for her to do.

well please DONT take this the wrong way - but i really WOULD NOT COUNT on any shows happening next year thanks to the coronavirus (which is 100% REAL & is definetely NOT disappearing overnight, or after novembers elections lol...) in fact i would not be surprised if everybody shows (NOT JUST CELINES,) either ends up POSTPONED AGAIN, or in worse-case scenerio, CANCELLED if the coronavirus does not get under control @ some point, & in most countries IT IS NOT (& here in the united states is def. one of them!)

 

again i am not discouraging anybody from purchasing tickets or anything, i am.just giving a warning to everybody about not getting all your hopes up & "not put all your eggs in one basket"... just because new dates were picked DOES NOT MEAN diddly squat & that anything is written in stone!

 

i have recently read an article that mentioned that these days, ALL performers who are currently touring or have a residency before the pandemic started are being pressured by the promoters @ various arenas & stadiums to reschedule their dates... reason being they want people to BUY MORE TICKETS! & buying more tickets = $$$ for the promoters & venues!!!

 

AGAIN IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE BACK TO COMPLETE PRE-PANDEMIC NORMAL IN 6 MONTHS - A YEAR FROM NOW!!! that is something all of us got to keep in mind, even those who still believe the coronavirus is "not real" (although it absolutely is!!!)

EXACTLY!!! most of us fans know it is an old video, & for the following VERY OBVIOUS reasons:

 

1. this was filmed during a tour from 2 YEARS AGO, in a country she has NOT been in since 2 years ago! we all know celine has not been in asia & europe since 2018!

 

2. & we all definetely know SHE IS NOT IN EUROPE OR ASIA RIGHT NOW, because of the current coronavirus pandemic & the TRAVEL BAN here in the united states (where people in the states can not travel to other countries & vice versa,) & many other countries i have heard also have the travel bans too (i have heard that some countries in europe, asia, south america, australia, etc, have travel bans & that americans CAN NOT VISIT some of those countries, people from those countries can not visit the U.S. either!) so even if celine wanted to travel to another country right now, SHE COULDNT because of the travel ban in the states!!! & it has been like that since march folks... & we all know celine is @ her home in LAS VEGAS (because that is where she said her children have been living @ during the tour & we all know celine would be @ HOME WITH HER KIDS @ this time & wouldnt be away from during the last 6+ months of this pandemic! (& like i have said before this pandemic is FAR FROM OVER!!!) & we all know even if celine was able to travel to other countries (which she is not right now,) she WOULD NOT want to risk the health of her kids & other family members who are in vegas as well (doesnt her sister linda & lindas husband still live with celine & her boys in vegas, & linda & her hubby help take care of the boys whenever celine is travelling & the boys are not with her, just like it was during this current tour, the boys stayed home in vegas, & the twins are quite still too young to be on their own without adult supervision/somebody to help take care of them...) & we all know celine would NEVER jeopardize the health of her family & ESPECIALLY HER KIDS!!!

 

sorry #2 is long, but it does drive home my point as to why this video was NOT FILMED THIS YEAR... case closed lol...

Here in the US, Dr. Fauci has said that he suspects life will not return to pre-Covid life until sometime near the end of 2021. He specifically mentioned not being able to go to movies until then. If we can’t go to movies, there’s no way concert arenas will be open.

 

Wonder Woman just got pushed back again to Christmas (it won’t open then either) due to movie theaters not being open in NYC, LA or San Fran among many other cities in the US. Tenet, the first major release since the pandemic opened at a loss to numbers much lower than expected.

 

Britain is doubling its number of new cases every 8 days. France and Spain are seeing a surge of new cases of the virus - the second wave may already be upon us.

 

I now put my prediction of the CWT starting in March at about 5%. What a huge pain it’s going to be for them to reschedule all of those dates AGAIN if so. And I still don’t get how everyone gets to go to the concert...there’s supposed to be six feet or 1.5 meters between people. That means not everyone can have seats next to each other so where do they go????

First time I listened to Patti’s version ...very lackbuster plus her voice often does stay too soft against the backingtrack. Only in the very end she sings some interesting high notes. To me this song does not fit her at all.

Me too! It would have been the end of my Courage summer tour, which should have started in Antwerp in May

Hopefully we will see her next year!!
