Céline RO Posted October 17, 2019 at 01:48 PM Posted October 17, 2019 at 01:48 PM I truly believe that by now she has completely recovered from that throat virus and that the reason why she was not in top shape vocally last night is because she had not trained/used her voice enough during these past few weeks. This is proved by the fact that, as the show progressed, her voice warmed up and this resulted in pretty good renditions of most songs towards the end of the show (I don’t believe in the backstage shot theory by the way). I’m sure that after a few shows of intense on-stage vocal training, Céline’s voice will be in top shape, or likely even better. I’m pretty confident that despite the rough start, the Courage World Tour is destined to be one of Céline’s best tours ever vocally, I just feel it. On a completely different note, I just noticed the (very appropriate) maple leaf visuals for “À Vous”!Also, am I the only one who thought the ending of IACBTMN sounded pretty bad? It s not like it went from 0 to 100% that suddenly. We already know from the past that Céline gets better when warming up her voice. However; This will be my first time going to a premier( technically I consider this premier since it will be the first unveiling of the English setlist list completely). Keep thinking before the lights go back on her after she’s moved imagine she could be in a different outfit that would be epic. Like at the start she wears a long coat or like the skirt that gets ripped off to show trousers for example I think it would be simple but would look incredible if done in this way! 1 Quote
