So happy for our Queen! She was fabulous last night.

Usually i avoid spoilers to be surprised next year but i am not going to do that anymore. i want to know the setlist and yes it would be great if she adda more new songs from the new album.. But will she? I hope David Bowie etc are gone next year. So much wasted space to do her own songs! let her net forget that her albums were the ones that brought her succes too! So why always the same songs? Plenty more to choose from.

Also let’s not have nervous breakdowns if we’re not thrilled by the setlist tomorrow night. I imagine there will still be tweaking as the tour progresses.

Most important thing is that Celine feels GOOD because that’s what it’s all about — just being in her presence and having a wonderful, transcendent time!

Exactly. The amount of people who complain (myself included) having not even seen the show, then go see it and take it all back is tremendous. Dont knock it till you try it

The lights are amazing!! Have not seen much videos where you can see the stage but they really made something cool.

 

Love what they do with the lights during Lying Down then she appears again.

 

Keep thinking before the lights go back on her after she’s moved imagine she could be in a different outfit that would be epic.

 

Like at the start she wears a long coat or like the skirt that gets ripped off to show trousers for example I think it would be simple but would look incredible if done in this way!

Can you imagine a acoustic show where she freestyles the whole show

 

I prefer this version, the acoustic one from 2017, much more than the 'regular' one where she freestyles like in 2018.

Also, when she was asked in that 2 hour interview about the album “Loved Me Back to Life”, she immediately started singing “Somebody Loves Somebody”. Could that also be something... it’s just not the first song that comes to mind when thinking of that album.

 

Also, when she hired Jeff Smallwood for this tour she probably remembered “Dreamin’ of You” and rediscovered it. Hopefully, she loved it and will include it in the setlist.

 

Finally, if it is true that she sang “Taking Chances” in Carpool Karaoke, she could have rediscovered that song as well and maybe fall in love with it again, especially since it fits the theme of courage.

Therefore, the new album songs will not replace any songs but will come as an addition to the show. If this is true we can probably expect another 5-6 new songs (as they rehearsed 40 songs in total and 9-10 French songs will be replaced) which would mean that she will end up singing a 8-9 new songs. Maybe I’m wrong though.

I don't see why they would wait to unveil new songs when the album is out. If anything, performing them before the album is out would be just considered promoting the album. My fear is that the number of songs will be minuscule from the new album. She has a habit of not performing new songs.

They have only shown 20 out of these 40 songs and only 8-9 French songs are gonna be replaced with English ones, so that does make me believe that at least another 5 or 6 new album songs are coming, why bother rehearsing 40 songs when youre only gonna show so few straight away; it makes sense

It makes perfect sense, in Celine Dion world. They ALWAYS, Rehearse way more songs than end up in the setlist. That’s nothing new.

I liked the first red dress better also. On the 15th, it appeared as if the red dress wasn't fitting well down the hips. It is also cut a bit higher on the thigh. This one is still beautiful, the red was a fantastic choice for sure! Loved the shape of the first one though.

PQTME.... is amazing in that way!! My only complaint tho, is why in a French show or even a mixed show like Ottawa would they ever shorten her biggest hit?! Makes no sense, you go to a Celine Dion concert in French speaking Canada and you hear a full version of “You’re The Voice” and yet you hear a short version of PQTME???

Well part of that number may be something like rehearsing “Think Twice” only as part of the U.K. Shows... maybe “Imperfections” only part of the US shows.... maybe that sort of thing so we will continue to have tiny changes based on the country is she in.
