God, no. Definitely NOT missed.

 

I like that song! It was a good concert opener for that time in her career. That song clearly made an impact on Celine — she’ll randomly sing snippets of it from time to time unlike so many other album cuts. I think it’s a fantastic album title too. Although she initially wanted to name that album The Reason, right?

 

IACBTMN is growing on me as this tour’s opener. I almost wish she’d just sing those first teaser lines from it but then go into another song like LCMM. Then save IACBTMN for later in the show.

I actually find the lyrics much less banal than most of her ballads, and honestly it still holds a message that is very much needed in today’s social and political climate.

I think it's a great song and would be lovely on a live album. She has certainly perfected it live. And it's not a screaming fest, so it would be a great number for her to rest her vocals.

Agreed, and whilst WFTM has the “And I Triiiiiiiiiiied” bit, its only a C#, which is the same belt she hits in TT... so still within her range and id have loved to see her attempt it 26 years later, however i agree that they maybe rehearsed it and it didnt make it

After looking at the Francophone set list - where she didn't go back into the back catalogue at all, I'm trying to have low expectations for her back catalogue songs in the anglo show.

 

I was hoping seeing her look at the LA VOIX DU BON DIEU album that she'd think "hey! what about one of these songs?" Why do the Marnay songs always get forgotten?

I think they named the album after it because it’s a very fitting title that actually sets a theme for the album. Other examples are “Dion chante plamondon”, “Celine Dion”, “The Colour of My Love”, “All the Way”, “A New Day Has Come”, “1 fille & 4 types”, “Miracle”, “D’elles”, “Taking Chances”, “Encore un soir” and “Courage”.

 

This is why I don’t understand random album titles like “Unison”, “D’eux”, “Falling into You”, “S’il suffisait d’aimer” or “Loved Me Back to Life”.

 

Off topic: this is why I would have preferred Mariah to name her album “Portrait” instead of “Caution”.

It’s also the same note that she slayed in TLBSEPT so yes, it would be well within her range. I think she would even attempt the improvised E5s that she did in 1993.

- Loved Me Back to Life (maybe, just because it fits the theme well and it is pretty iconic by now)

Falling Into You and S'il suffisait d'aimer are not random album titles.

 

And "D'eux" plays with the word "deux" in two ways, one meaning "two" (deux in French) and at the same time with the reference to "d'eux", meaning "from them" = from Céline and Jean-Jacques, so definitely this title was a witty one

Sil Suffisait Daimer literally translates to “if it were enough to love” ... seems pretty fitting to me considering the songs on it

Absolutely not. Going on the rocket mortgage fieldhouse site, there are over 1,000 tickets left, with a rough capacity of 14,250, thats 91% yes, but thats irrelevant, its the fact that most of the empty seats are whole rows if not almost half a section at a time, it’ll *look* bad

No matter how you *look* at it, saying that a LARGE number of tickets remain unsold while saying in the same sentence that the show is 90%+ sold out, does not make sens at all, right?
