I think you're right! I skipped it since I expected it to be the usual. She even "withhold" the singing towards the end before the final note. Could it be mostly (or all) live????

 

I think they mustve left her mic on and had her sing along under he usual playback to make it more “live” and less suspect

 

However after listening again, i hear nothing out of the norm until the final seconds of the big note, apart from that, standard playback

You're probably right. I just thought I heard some difference in the way her voice rasps on "heading" and how the backing vocals sounded louder than I've heard before on some parts. But yea... it's overall a bit "too smoothe". Guess it was just wishful thinking.

Very excited! Just hope Celine feels great & strong and everyone has a wonderful time!!! The rocky start to this tour reminded us that our Queen is in fact human so we shouldn’t expect her to be everything for everybody all the time. She is the hardest working, most humble icon alive today. The two nights in Ottawa certainly taught me to just take a deep breath and enjoy the ride with our amazing gal. Sometimes I take her talent and incomparable consistency / dependability for granted.

 

Can’t wait to see the videos! And let’s please all be adults once the setlist is revealed because it will probably evolve as the tour continues. So just relax.

 

Also — I love her costumes and overall look for this tour. Very sleek and modern. Perfect representation / marriage of Celine Dion the fashion icon & Celine Dion the vocal diva. She’s ready for the 2020s and beyond.
