I think Xpresso was simply saying that people choose to spend their money they way they feel like spending their money. I particularly like to spend money on shoes and jeans. I just bought a pair of boots for $250.00. Expensive? Yes. Do I have a lifestyle to be spending this kind of money? No. But I enjoy spending my money on beautiful shoes.

Even they are confused. Also , this is the most political Celine has ever been. I kinda like it, speak your mind Celine! She’s already a legend who cares if she alienates a handful of people. I like the video and the choice of brand.

The video is WTF which makes people talks about. Good marketing.

And with the choice of brand is the most politically charged thing she has ever done since 1992 at Sevilla. Daring, bold. About something she cares. I say 'go girl' !

"I'm Celine Dijon" my brain expects to hear. She looks so pretty too.

 

It's clear this ad is very different to past things she's done. So what if it's for a kids clothing line, it's a campaign like she hasn't done ever (?). It's already got people curious & that's a good thing. Who knows, perhaps this will end up tieing into her album (as a sponsor), it'll be a success & create new hype for her (especially since she's making a clear & somewhat political statement which she usually shies away from), & maybe this will lead to her getting a tv/movie role.

 

The point is it's something different & seems creative & fun and we'll be able to watch Celine in this video tomorrow (just think of it as a short film instead of a commercial).

 

By the way, this clothing line might seem crazy for some but I can assure you there are parents & kids that will love this, & they don't have to be rich to do so. I know three kids who are like little siblings to me & let me tell you, the eldest who is 13 will only wear brand shoes & clothing, his 10-year-old sister gets up extra early to do her hair & pick out the right clothing for school, & the little 9 year old is starting to copy his older brother by making sure to match his shoes with his shirt. And these are not spoiled kids by any means, it's just their parents like for them to have the best things possible & they really enjoy dressing well.

I am guessing that this will be a funny video, where Celine appears to be breaking into a clothing store and police arrive to arrest her, but than she tells the Police that she's Celine Dion and that she's just setting up her new clothing line with NUNUNU.

 

I think the video will make a lot more sense tomorrow. It looks like they are definitely going for humor in the video, which Celine is very good at, so I'm sure the video will be hilarious and make a lot more sense once we see the whole thing. I am very excited!
