As much as we all want news about the new album, I am actually really intrigued by this. I think that if Celine's going to be involved in "non-music" projects, it's great that she is choosing things that feel authentic to her -- she's obviously always been interested in fashion, and she has spent the last ~18 years being very vocal about the importance of her children, not to mention that she has always seemed really comfortable with letting her kids express themselves however they'd like. This collab makes sense to me, and I think this will garner her a lot of positive attention. Aside from the "children" aspect of it, I could see a lot of younger pop stars doing this sort of thing -- I could imagine Gaga or Katy Perry partnering with a gender neutral clothing company. It seems kind of avant garde in a way that still fits with who Celine is.

 

Now, if only we can get their marketing team involved in helping promote the new album. It seems like she always does better promotion-wise when there is some external entity making it happen. When it's just her team... Fingers crossed that this is the start of a resurgence/new image/marketing push over the next few months (hopefully) leading up to the new album.
