March 15 is SPS Awareness Day, yes.

 

Anyway, looks like Law is in NYC too. Could be for Zendaya or any host of other reasons, of course. But he was our first canary in the coal mine for the Grammy appearance.

Rare Disease Awareness Day was Feb 29th.

Might think they will do something for SPS awareness day.

 

Now if Dee will post something that shows she is in NYC as well now, than it's safe to say somethings coming up.

 

Maybe nothing will happen, but I love how we all get excited by some new pictures of her.

I don’t know why we’re surprised Celines hair looks a bit insane- it always has in candid street appearances, or at least her natural hair does. It was always frizzy, but after near enough 30 years of bleaching it it’s probably absolutely destroyed, which explains the appearance lol. But as someone said above, she’s never really been fussy about her hair or being makeup free, and there’s also a fair chance she’s going somewhere to get hair and makeup done anyway- so why bother doing it just to take it all off once she arrives?

Well, that’s definitely Shari and Dee getting into the car with her. Question is - what would she be doing in NYC that she can’t do in Vegas or LA? All the networks are here, which to me suggests it’s something for TV.

She also seems to be leaning out of the car and holding onto the door to keep herself steady, rather than actually having both feet on the ground outside of the car, which shows that she’s must be feeling pretty strong to be holding herself in such an awkward position.

You could be on to something here. If it was just one interview wouldn’t she do it via video link? It’s a bit of a journey for one prob 5/10 minute interview. Unless she’s filming something that requires in person. Perhaps too she has a few things to do in NY so thought the trip was worth it.

 

Hopefully we find out soon!

Interesting that in the video of Celine getting into the car taken by paparazzi, a security guard (I’m assuming), interrupts him when he’s trying to speak to her and says “dont speak- don’t reach out to her, you can take all the pictures you want you’re on a public lot, just don’t reach out to her”. Even more interesting is that she does completely ignore everyone poised to take pictures until she gives them the quick thumbs up before she drives away. She was really into whatever conversation she was having lol.

Unless Dee and Shari are with her for mental support when she sees her doctors, i think the other 3 are more likely.

She looks good. To me her face looks more like her normal self than in previous times that it looked a bit swollen. She must be recording/planning some promo.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she had done some recording (in the LV studio) during the hiatus, assuming she’s in good enough shape vocally. Clearly that aspect of her career is much more manageable around good days than any kind of live performance.

As for the NYC presence, I think it’s most likely some kind of pre-taping for doc promo, though I’m surprised to see it this early given the most likely festivals are still a couple months away and don’t announce their lineups until mid-April.

Nice to see Jeremy still works for the family. In recent years he’s been RC’s bodyguard but I was trying really hard to listen to what she was saying to Jeremy in that video but couldn’t make it out.

I’m wondering if this is done early… to almost guarantee a “good day”. It Celine is promoting this early and we don’t even have a release date yet. But I have a feeling we may get the date this upcoming week after the Oscar buzz dies down.

Well, there was no sighting of her coming back the night before either. She does say "bye" to him at the end; maybe they had just checked out and were headed to the airport. Or maybe not. We need a lip reader!

 

And speaking of security, did we ever learn what exactly happened to Eric? All that was reported at the time was that it was sudden, while working in London, and there was a GoFundMe for repatriation of remains and funeral costs. Not much to be gleamed from his obituary either. And he was only 57...

Do we know who the guy was that she was speaking too? A security person? A fan? A hotel staff person? I’m sure someone would’ve captured the luggage being loaded in the vehicle if she was leaving… :hmm:

Jeremy RC’s bodyguard, used to be one of hers and there would be a second car for bags usually.

Good to know… so that could mean a couple things… either RC and Celine went two different places or she left NYC…

 

Wouldn’t RC bodyguard at least return to Vegas with them? I’d assume that he bases there if he is employed mostly in Vegas.

 

I think we may see her pop back up this afternoon/evening.

Well, Law posted re an NYC hotel yesterday but doesn’t necessarily mean he was actually there yesterday, technically. Presumably he’s in LA today since Zendaya is presenting at the Oscars.
