My guess is she’s recording - either doc promo to new music - and timed it such that she could take the twins along during their spring break. If the doc premieres at Cannes, as many of us here expect, that would mean a mid-April announcement and perhaps a trailer, so maybe we’ll see something air around then.

For reference, Irene’s last feature doc premiered at Telluride Mountainflm (May) and then played at Hamptons Film Fest (Oct) and Jackson Hole Film Fest (Dec), before premiering on HBO later that month.

 

The PEOPLE article insinuated that Celine would have an extended stay in Boston…said she would return to visit “Scampo” restaurant in while she was in town. Shari posted yet another post of Boston on her insta year or the day before… so I’m wondering if Celine is still there, and if she is if it’s medical related… since Boston doesn’t really seem like much of a destination to be “working” unless it’s all studio related ofc. :hmm:

 

Also… this person on X claims that Celine was at a museum today… no indication as to where or what city it was in though….

How many hockey games has she been attended since last year? 3, 4 ?

She looks and sounds sooo like her old self :wub:

 

Outfit reminded me of Carpool Karaoke, and may I say I love it when she wears glasses.

 

So is this becoming a regular thing? When we see her it's backstage at hockeygames?

 

She must be having good and bad days, but when you see her like this you wonder what's keeping her from performing.

 

My guess is that they slowly put her back in the public eye for the documentary and what else they might have in store.

 

Can't imagine that the last 3 years her health was that bad, she wouldn't leave the house, but who knows.

Happy to see her out and about. And time for that documentary to answer all.

Did she have a face job? Her face looks so tight, unlike in the pics from recording Love Again! Anyway, I’m so glad and relieved to see her like that. She looks so much stronger than during the Grammy appearance. It’s like nothing ever happened, and that makes me happy. So good to see her with her family and that she is not alone!

She’s always said Boston is a very special place for her because it’s the closest major US city to Montreal and it has a lot of memories for her.

don’t know if these photos are all edited to heck but she does look like she’s glowing. Better than we’ve seen her in awhile.

Yes I remember, also she liked starting her US tours there as the first stop…and called it her lucky city during TCWT.

 

However, I just mean as a public person the reason she’s still there even tho we don’t know why, intrigues me. Most people go somewhere like the Bahamas when they just want a vacation or change of scenery…Is it just because she’s enjoying herself which is well deserved and she wanted a change of scenery of Vegas, or is there actually anything bf career related for the reason to base in Boston for over a week now. Either way, it doesn’t matter I’m just being nosy, I’m glad to see her enjoying herself.

My theory (with no real evidence, mind you), is she's recording.

Maybe she's slowly making her way to Montreal to spend Easter with the fam (when's the last she was in Quebec - during COVID lockdowns?). Maybe she'll hop over to Halifax for the weekend to present at the Junos (as if... she hasn't shown up in 25 years...). She has surprised us in recent months so who knows.

Anyhow, I saw a post I can’t find now that said something like…. “ Celine so so legendary, that she can just go away and say unless I’m taking in a hockey game, you’ll never see again”…. Obviously we know the reason for absence, still though I found that funny.
