Well, I just watched the first segment for Celine's handbag Collection on TSC and Celine wasn't there in person. :down: Previous video footage of Celine talking about her collection and answering questions was shown in the middle of the segment instead, but someone from Bugatti was there in her place to showcase the bags.

 

Celine's collection is only featured for 30 minutes at a time that's spread out into 3 segments throughout the day. Usually TSC has fashion segments that last a full hour at a time, so I'm sure once Celine's collection gets more recognition on TSC and her collection sells quick enough, I'm sure they will have Celine on there in person at some point down the line! :-D

Buy a handbag, and get the new album! If some artists do it with concert tickets (to chart higher), why not with handbags!!?? :-D

I figured this was the best place to ask this: I was wondering which singers people thought were the most Celine-like in general or are the most likely to appeal to a Celine fan who has everything by her and wants more along similar lines in a sense at least in terms of a female with a powerful voice and good range.

 

I would guess that most people might agree on Lara Fabian, Linda Eder or Edyta Gorniak and wondered which other singers you might put in this category (without arguing about who is the best necessarily).

 

Others I often hear mentioned as appealing to fans more broadly in different ways are Regine Velasquez, Pastora Soler, Laura Pausini, Anggun, Ani Lorak, Delta Goodrem and perhaps Tarja Turunen, Anneke Van Giersbergen etc.

 

Of course there's Barbra, Mariah, Christina and Whitney but I am more looking for suggestions of people who might not be well known in the English language sphere from around the world, perhaps in less well known bands/situations or who possibly are not singing in English as well.

Does anybody knows why she stopped doing interviews with Sonia Banezra? they used to be so close in the 90s (almost every french special had her as a host) and then...we never saw them together again...like Celine switched to Julie Snyder LOL

Because Sonia didn't have a TV show for the longest time and kind of disappeared. But now she has a new TV show, so there's hope!

I was supposed to be there. Somehow I missed out on seeing her during the Taking Chances tour. Still annoys me to this day.

It's from June 2017 to June 2018. And they used the pic of Céline wearing that gold pantsuit instead of the beautiful gold dress!! :unsure:

Wouldn’t it be good to have an album “Celine Dion: the demos”

 

I’d love an album with her first takes on her most well known songs! I know we have some already like think twice but I’d love to hear other songs.
