So I was watching this performance of LMBTL and I just had to share it with all of you because it just gave me the chills after watching it after such a long time again

I love what she did with that song. Just notice the angelic and emotional powerful notes at 3:17 (she got confused with the lyric, but OMG how amazing she sounds in those free style notes) I would love a full album with those free style notes of her :) she is so talented and this performance is just another proof of that. (Also: Great arrangements, great visuals, not that karaoke crap version that they did in Vegas. The new band is awesome!).

 

I love when she messes up the lyric and does some free style, like in the ANDHC performence 2008, that free style was even better than if she sang the actual lyric :D

 

Moreover, look at the amazing visuals for this performence. They were just spot on! Perfectly suitable for the song. Such a shame they removed the song form the setlist. Now, a concert from that 2017 tour with this performance would be great to have on DVD! Not the same old ballads from the 90s that are included on literally every single DVD that comes out.

LMBTL is such an awesome song, that holds incredible meaning to me. So much so, that I had the title tattooed on my arm. For me, it signifies my rebirth from an abusive relationship. I was really gutted when it was dropped from the set list. 6685d03da68bf0d822784f012ab74839.jpg

The amount of hatred spitted out here yesterday really affects me! Can't remember a similar situation since my 10 years of membership up here. How can people, who call themselve fans of one of the most respectful artists in the world behave like that?!

No, I hadn't the privilege to meet Céline in person, but based on the things I saw and read about her I alow myselve to say, that she treats everyone with respect and dignity. Values which definitivly lack to some. And yesterday it looks, as if those people showed up here, who met her not only once, but numerous times ... and the hatred they spitted out here is even worse than the one before! Answering hatred with hatred never lead to anything!

I remember a picture which I found lately. It shows the entrance door of Célines former home @ Laval. You can read underneath the emblem: "Sementem seceris metes". If I'm correct, it's the famous quote of Cicerco, which translates: "As you sow so will you reap". So as some people here asked why some others react like that? Check your own behaviour first, there lies the answer! And that's where really true fanship starts, living values which Céline lives in meeting other people! And I am sure, she would NEVER EVER treat someone like that!

it's about being a fan who loves music that loves to read everything through OUR heart to OUR idol.

Even this forum is about to - connect every fan of every corner of the world.

And do not live in the illusion that someone is above the other fans because he/she "met" a million times with his/her idol and thinks he/she is above all.

 

Being a fan does not mean having privileges bigger than others.

It is also about humility, character, state of mind.

And it's not about "pickup the #ss" ......... that's a bad ,and it's a bad delusion.

all fans should be equal and not subject to the illusion that they are more .. because in one year they followed their idol 5 times to 100 times.

 

This was already iny level of blinded ignorance and superiority.

Stop hurting, hating (and speaking with one breath about love).

But we love one person AND THE PERSON IS UNIQUE CELINE DION.

And it's how many times you've seen her live or "run away from her in front of her hotel."

Celine is a lady with a big heart for us, and sometimes with exaggerated patience.

 

Knowing Celine like fans is one thing.

And pushing into her privacy is the second thing .

 

Her privacy is purely her thing.

Just as your private life is just yours.

Please delete my account! I used to enjoy being on this forum but now I want off!

 

There is a lot of jealousy and hate in this place, not from everyone, but from a majority!! And it’s not just about other fans, it’s also for Céline at times

 

Celine has always been my passion and I used to enjoy posting on here but now it’s just gotten bad

 

I don’t want to be here, and won’t be back. There are many other more respectful places to chat!

based on the things i got to know since the short time i am here, all the destructive forces will fall over the new album like swarms and find faults til all joy is destroyed.

Others may share dresses or bags ... phew ... I just found out now that I share salt and pepper shakers with her - b.t.w.must have been a really tasteless cake to her 45th birthday! :hmm:

 

But who can claim that ... Salt'n'pepper shaker!!! :sofunny:

But I state, she definitively's got more salt'n'pepper than me (but I would never dispute that!). :thumbsup2:

I remember seeing something that someone on this forum posted a few years back, where it was mentioned that Celine was going to be inducted into the Guinness Book Of World Records for the 16th time. That info was followed by a list of all Celine's previous Guinness World Records achievements.

 

I was wondering if anyone knows about this and could post that info to the forum again? I would very much appreciate it. :)

As MrTim said, if the people that post positively leave then the forum will truly be lost.

It's a shame to see some of my fave members wanting to leave, I hope you and others wanting to leave for this reason reconsider, or at least decide to come back at some point.

What's wrong with that? They make cakes in the shape or thing you like so you can eat it. There are also piñatas that you pull on strings to just tear the bottom, doesn't require any hitting.
