A little while ago, I saw a Dutch fan asking when the tickets went on sale for the LTAL tour in Amsterdam.

I don't remember in which topic it was, so I'll post it here...

 

I found my ticket and I bought it on October 24th, 1998 9.04 AM, 4 minutes after they went on sale! haha

 

Mine is from the same date. I also remember that it was uncertain if the concert would take place because of the condition of René. Eventually it became the first concert of the European leg of the tour.

the thing with Celine is , when you are really into her, she becomes the etalon where you compare with every other artists, and more often that not , it keeps you to really appreciate them as much as before. This is totally her fault that people wants more for her, because it is never enough. The queen of feelings. :)

So I was watching this performance of LMBTL and I just had to share it with all of you because it just gave me the chills after watching it after such a long time again

I love what she did with that song. Just notice the angelic and emotional powerful notes at 3:17 (she got confused with the lyric, but OMG how amazing she sounds in those free style notes) I would love a full album with those free style notes of her :) she is so talented and this performance is just another proof of that. (Also: Great arrangements, great visuals, not that karaoke crap version that they did in Vegas. The new band is awesome!).

 

I love when she messes up the lyric and does some free style, like in the ANDHC performence 2008, that free style was even better than if she sang the actual lyric :D

 

Moreover, look at the amazing visuals for this performence. They were just spot on! Perfectly suitable for the song. Such a shame they removed the song form the setlist. Now, a concert from that 2017 tour with this performance would be great to have on DVD! Not the same old ballads from the 90s that are included on literally every single DVD that comes out.

They did the same with the live "My Love," "If I Could," and "I Drove All Night" videos. What's the point of posting them if they're just going to take them down later?

 

I'd really like to know who manages her YT channel. Team Celine? Sony? YouTube? Because that has systematically been the most poorly managed aspect of her career, I'd say. Tragic ineptitude.

They're testing. They want to be sure the nerves of the YouTube people and their patience are in perfect unison with their ineptitude :giggle:

Because she's always the one blabbing to the press and airing family laundry...

But I'm only making that (tenuous) assumption about her possibly being the seller based on the fact that one of those cards pictured is addressed to her. May or may not be the case.

Well, she's "blabbing" to the press because she is the media spokesperson of the fondation maman dion, and who knows if she's got other duties, about the fans don't know nothing. Until it's not "officially declared" I don't dive into this whole "dirty laundry" bog. I can't remember hearing or seeing Céline in any way where someone can conclude that the relationship of them isn't well, so there are reason for her to sell such private stuff. I also don't think, that she owns a dress of Céline, shoes or awards or René's sunglasses. And I still don't know, if this whole auction isn't a charity auction. Still haven't found out ("damn" French!)

not that I want her to do one of these (I really don't) but just for fun, if she did it'd be Celine turning random things into emotional power ballads. She makes her friends too emotional so they hand her a snickers bar cause they can't deal with the feelings lol.

Has anyone seen this before i love Celines message this was in 2014 when rene was Recovering from cancer before it came back again not to long after.

I have a question regarding then TCWT dvd show in Boston?? I know the Montreal show dvd is a mix between the Boston show and Montréal show. Does anyone know are all the English songs definitely from the Boston show?? Or are some of the English songs from the Montreal show and they just plopped them in the Bosfon dvd? I was just curious if the Boston dvd was ALL from Boston and then the Montral dvd is a mix between the 2??
