I was at Celine's New Year's Eve Show 2 years ago, and it was a fabulous / memorable way to celebrate and ring in the new year!!!

 

OMG! That must have been an experience of a lifetime. It's always super exciting to see her live, but ringing in the new year with her???? No words! Congrats, Donna! :wub:

Yes, it was super exciting!!! I had to keep pinching myself so that I'd know that it was real. LOL. Plus, I kept telling myself to truly enjoy each and every moment!! It was a shock that my husband had agreed to the trip months before, but he enjoyed it so much that he's been back with me to see Celine 2 other times with another trip planned this next summer!! He thought about going back this year for NYE, but it was too late to get excellent seats. I don't go to a show if I have to sit very far back. I'm very particular about where I sit, but AXS does not make things enjoyable when it comes to buying tickets for the shows. I truly dislike their system, and I've expressed my feelings to the box office too. I'll be glad to tell anyone else, of importance, if the opportunity presents itself. "The powers that be" won't really comprehend if nothing is said to them about how I feel. Each person's complaint counts for a certain amount. So, it's worth expressing. Of course, always in a kind professional way stating reasons and why. There are 2 ways to say things, the right way and the wrong way. Kindness will produce more results than any other way ( in most instances anyway aside from criminal acts of course). I'm sorry for rambling on, but.............I want Ticketmaster back with the interactive map!!!

 

Nonetheless, I would love to be at another NYE show. The weather is fabulous at that time of year, and everything is so festive. It was tons of fun!!! I even had the opportunity to meet up with some other forum members which was really fun!!!

 

I have a feeling that we will do another NYE show before Celine finishes her Vegas contract. I don't want to wish away my life, but I can't wait to do it again!!!!

I would love to attend a Las Vegas concert in which several of us were together and maybe have a meeting or dinner and talk all night, play some music, tell anecdotes. Wouldn't that be lovely? :heart:

Oh yes!!!! I love my "Celine Forum" friends!!! It's wonderful to have "made friends" with so many from around the world that love and appreciate Celine!!! Everyone on this forum "rocks"!!!

 

My husband doesn't understand it. He likes Celine very much, but he's not a die-hard fan like me. He finds my "forum addiction" cute, but after a while he tells me that it's time to get off of "my toys"!!! LOL. At least, it's good clean fun with people who are kind and have excellent tastes!!!

 

So, your idea would be lovely!!! (I'd add emoticons, but the options to so aren't available to me on my iPad. I don't know why either. I'm not tech savvy. So, I just stay somewhat jealous of all of y'all with those options!! Maybe I'll figure out how to make all that magically appear some day!!).

Yes. This place is the best escape. Sometimes you have your information, gossip, and drama all in one package. Other times a social network where you can meet fans. Sometimes I feel there is exclusivity between members, there is always someone who is willing to read other opinions and respond on what they say. This forum is the place to be for any news regarding Celine.

my husband is in in the kitchen near me preparing ham to make sandwiichs...this is how we share my love of Celine. And he refuses to cut the crust on the bread..

That's an awesome idea! There's a few people on here I'd love to get together with. I'm definitely planning on attending the last show (or shows) in 2019, especially if I don't get to go again until then. Perhaps we can all save and plan something then?

I feel the same way at times. It can be quite entertaining on here. But I love the people I've connected with so overall it's pretty cool on here despite some of the drama. LOL

I have a funny feeling we will have another fan meeting in the near future, most like if and when there is a DVD coming out / taping. So fingers crossed.

the knife is quite menacing...i would have prefered olives, less dangerous to be in the news.

It is a multipurpose knife. Celine said she's interested in acting. Shhhhh she will be the villain in Scream 5, but don't say I told you. That's why the knife looks menacing.
