I actually have a question and this was probably answered here on other pages but I would like to know if Celine was classically trained vocally? I ask this because some people say she was and some she wasn't. I just want to know.

I've just brought up a question I've been wondering long ago, do you thing the "Miracle" song was really recorded by Céline for her 2004 "Miracle" album, or maybe she had the song recorded and ready since years before, for her ANDHC album? Her voice in this song is clearly different from the rest of songs truly recorded for Miracle, like If I Could or What A Wonderful Word (in which she was extremely nasal). Yes, I'm quite sure I read that somewhere . I wish I could remember the source, but I remember reading that it had initially been recorded for ANDHC, but they had put it aside at that point . ..which makes sense, really, because they were so involved with David Foster in the late 90s that it would have been really strange for them not to be working with him at all in '02,but there aren't any David Foster songs on ANDHC (except maybe I Surrender. . . I still don't get what's up with the production on that song, since it's stated in multiple places that David produced it, and it's on this new Best of Celine and David album,, but ANDHC lists a different producer).

It's on a couple of fan pages and message boards:

 

According to one: "the title track Miracle, was originally a David Foster produced track called "Who Could Ever Love You More" made for A New Day Has Come, but kept off the album due to some legal issues that are now resolved." http://www.ukmix.org...ic.php?p=341149

 

And another said it came from an interview on Anne Geddes' website at the time: "The song originally was titled "Who could ever love you more", and it was suppose to be on Celine's most recent English album, but it didn't make it for whatever reason. i couldnt find it, I even typed "radio" in search box and scrolled down 9 pages...

I was at the mall earlier today and heard "Get Lucky" and immediately saw Celine in my head dancing! :bananadance: Lol! I'm sure that's not what Daft Punk wanted when they recorded that song but when I hear it that's what I see now!

 

That song plays in work alot and even if I'm having a crap day , if I hear that I see Celine dancing and it makes me laugh! Love that video! They should have just used Celine in the video for that song! Lol

I am finally watching the anti climaxic show "An Audience with Celine Dion" :sleep:

and my question is... from all those "An Audience with..." how many people also lipsync everything?

I still can't believe they let this happen. In the list of bad decisions in the 00's lipping this show is in the top 5! :dots:

I've noticed that Celine still uses a walkman from time to time. I saw in one of the behind the scenes videos for her recent concert at the Plains Of Abraham, Celine was listening to a walkman backstage. Does anyone know what kind of walkman Celine uses?

 

I think it looks alot like this Sony MP3 walkman, which is the same one i use.
