I don't know if this has been already discussed on here but I was curious if anybody here has or would name their child after Celine?

Or do you know anyone who has? I think Celine is a cute girls name but I dont know if my future husband would agree to the name. I hope though. :yes:

If I'm not mistaken, KayleeCeline has named her little girl Céline. And I have Céline's middle name. :P

My mate Paula has a little girl Francesca Celine. Paula was only a few weeks pregnant (she didn't know at the time) when we went to Vegas to see AND. She got Celine to sign her birth certificate and Celine signed it To Francesca Celine - its on the AND dvd.

Sorry to interrupt your discussion but I thought about something, I haven't seen any pictures of Céline from 1989, at least not that I know of. I know she wasn't in the spotlight much that year but I'm thinking there must be some, anyone has anything? Thanks. :) Edited by Sofie

Has anyone used their comp tickets from the Oprah show yet? I'm wondering if we need that little card they gave us with the code on it when we check in to verify that we actually attended the show. When I made the reservations, she didn't ask for the code. I just don't want to show up and then be asked for it. We have my husbands but mine is in a different location. May have to alter our driving route to go get it. Leaving this weekend....YEAH!!!!!

Are there any Days of Our Lives fans here? I was just sitting here in boredom and I thought about the episode where Sean Brady played and sang That's the Way it Is. They had just crash landed on "temptation island" and his keyboard miraculously survived the ocean. He sang it to cheer everyone up. I think it was around 2000 when these episodes aired.

It was not that long ago. :P It was in 2007 when she was premoting ''Taking Chances''.

 

I :heart: the ''Behind the Scenes'' video of that episode. When she says ''My heart is pounding'' I just die. She is too darn adorable. She looks like a shy little girl. :giggle:

Howdy fans! ;) I found SSDM (no, didn't have it before :P) and The early years today in probably the world's best store ever! The songs are so special and amazing, it's unbelievable. The early years cost just above a dollar. One single dollar! If they only knew how much happiness an album the sold for one dollar could bring to a fan.

 

And guess what they had on the wall? A pic of our girl, yay! For a fan it's hard to hide your excitement, we're all in the same boat here. And btw, I'm crazy about Tous les blues sont écrits pour toi and Je crois toi. :wub:

I have been thinking today how many songs each of my favorite artists have recorded. Most of them are reasonable numbers of 100-200 songs I estimated with one artist being in the industry a couple extra yrs over Celine has over 400 songs. Then this evening, I started to listen to Celine and begin to think. And then I went "Oh Lord...that number is like 600!!"

The other day I was thinking about the signature Celine logo. I started to wonder ... do you all think she actually scribed that signature? Because it doesn't really look like her own. In fact, if you look on the Billy album, the CELINE looks more like her own handwriting.

I wonder if they started by incorporating her own signature onto albums and then had artists alter it to the CELINE logo we all know and love.

That's an idea. Though I think it still somehow looks like the way she writes her autograph at the moment, but they made it a little rounder and even easier to read.
