Now that the show is on a 2 week break, let's play "Guess Where Celine Is?"! Lol

I'm guessing she'll either be back in Florida, or in Montreal for her charity commitments?

The show resumes on Tues July 19.

I think Celine will be in Montreal to do her dad's charity golf tournament that she hosts every summer.

She talked about that.

Hey guys, maybe this has already been posted, but tonight on So You Think You Can Dance, "To Love You More" was used in one of the final couple's dances. it was so neat/cool/exciting to hear her being "used" in awesome way as this. So freaking wonderful. Yay!!!

Just wanted to know, have you ever learned something new from Celine?? I was always under the impression that the song "If That's What It Takes" on the Falling into You album. (which is a Favorite song of mine) was the English Version of "Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore". Turns out it's not and they used the melody of the song to make ITWIT!! I was shocked!!! but glad i found that out before my wedding!! Because I was going to use the French version of the song in my wedding, but now..I'm just going to use ITWIT, lol. Oh, I need to learn French!! LOL. Celine, what will I learn next???

 

Anybody else have a similar experience where they learned something that they didn't know before???

Don't the papperazzi follow Celine around? Why is it that noone has shown up with pics or information on where she is during these 2 weeks? She said a while back that she wouldn't be in Canada for probably another year, so I figure they are back in Florida for the break.

I was also thinkink why Céline is not often photographed by papparazzi, but maybe reason is she doesn´t go out often, as she said in one interview. I don´t think she is back on Florida it´s only two weeks, but who knows, I think she is in LV and maybe she will recording something for new album. She said in interview early this year she will be in Montreal this summer for 5 days.

I seem to have just read that Celine is the new spokesperson for this new baby monitor that you plce under the kids matress. I do not know if this has been posted before. I found it on purepeople and I unfortunatley can not post the linkright now and it is in french... Just wanted to infor you. They say that the is the spokesperson for the brand Angelcare. Hasn't she been a spokesperson for Angelcare for a while now? My sister gave me one of her "pregnant people" magazines with a Celine add in it quite some time ago! From back in February

Hello everyone!

 

I was watching "On ne change pas" DVD earlier today. As I was watching the behind the scenes of the "Je ne vous oublie pas" music video, Celine makes comments about her past hits. Is there anyway someone could tell me what she is saying during those quick moments, especially since I don't know French. I did not see a thread about this; of course, I didn't look through 10 pgs of results either. Thank you for any help! =)

Alicia, I think she talks a little bit about what the songs means to her and stuff like that, like how she enjoyed singing with Jean-Jacques and that he's like a brother to her and how she loved the style of Tout l'or des hommes with the caravan and the jeans and T-shirts, that Pour que tu m'aimes encore was the biggest song of her French career and many other things. I don't understand everything either so we need a Francophone to our rescue here. I really encourage you to learn French though. It's fun when you have Céline as a reason. :thumbup:

Actually I did take French in high school AND college (totaling 6 years) and I completely stunk in speaking and listening comprehendsion! I almost failed my last college course because I could not master those fore mentioned skills. I passed that class by the skin of my teeth. And the funny thing about it all is I took French with the intention of understanding Celine's French songs and such!! :laugh:

All the damn vids on YouTube labeled "Celine Dion - Silent Night" are Mariah Carey singing, just mislabeled :angry2:

It's been told to fans by the paparazzi they aren't interested in Celine. Her photos don't sell for much like say Britney or Gaga or Miley or whoever. Some fans in NYC were told by paps outside Celine's hotel that they weren't there waiting on her, they were waiting on someone else to come out of the hotel and if they saw Celine they might take some photos but they weren't there for her and didn't even know she was there till the fans said so.

So, I have an question for everyone here. I was at the store today looking for magazines and I found the magazine Délires and they had three pages where they were ''caricaturing'' Céline. They even made a mean cartoon of her and her family (yes, even the twins) and they were saying that René drives a Hummer that works with shale gas, Céline pretends to care for the enviroment but doesn't really, she doesn't change her kids ''cloth'' diapers because she finds it disgusting, she eats at McDonalds and a whole bunch of stuff like that. I don't know where they got that? I was wondering why that did that, what is her position towards the enviroment for them to do something like that. It just doesn't seem to be an aspect of her that we hear about....

It was a joke, they are just making fun of her. It's not uncommon. Celine takes it in stride, she doesn't get worked up over it. Like they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. she said about the SNL sketches that she knew you had made it when SNL makes fun of you.
