I don't mind it. It's a nice song, we haven't had in 4 years... but this 2 hour show will probably have a twenty minute segment dedicated to rehashing the fill in story for now the third time...yawn. how many songs will we have to sacrifice for the slew of talking that'll come with this one again? Lol

Maybe we will just get a “ladies and gentlemen please welcome Josh Groban” and then get the performance with the 5 mins of talking AFTER... all in all it will only add to 10 mins of a 2 hour concert so we cant really complain

Why? The people who are buying tickets to this festival on that date are buying tickets to see CELINE DION, CLAIRE RICHARDS AND JOSH GROBAN. They’re going to expect the type of music that these artists sing. They’re not going to be expecting a rock concert. I’m not. I’m expecting a Celine concert - a s*** ton of power ballads, cover songs, and a few uptempos here and there. Wish Josh Groban, I’m expecting to hear a bunch of ballads in a foreign language and a s*** ton of musical theater. This festival hired Celine, Stevie Wonder, and Barbra Streisand to headline. They’re going for a certain type of crowd. Just like on the Carole King date - it’s not going to be a bunch of 20 years old drinking until they puke.

Last I heard from AXS she had sold “around” 60,000 tickets...

 

Even if she was completely sold out promo like this would still go on IMO because they need the numbers for radio and TV broadcasts to make more profit

 

Not to mention that all other artists involved are also heavily promoting it... possible that it is part of the contract to do so

It would be great if Celine and Josh sing Run or 99 Years from his last album. These are just great songs and it seems that Run is a well known song (a cover)! Edited by Unisono

I know that we are in the midst of a 2018 tour and that we still have to see if anything continues with a possible documentary. HOWEVER

 

Due to the fact that Vegas is scheduled to end in 2019 and as we havent heard otherwise I presume that is still the plan. Now whether she tours or not or when she finishes is completely up in the air just now. But thats what threads like this are for

 

 

Me personally, I think it’s most likely to be a US tour to “rexpose” her to a US audience post album release (we dont know that either but its probable) and maybe (if were lucky) a leg of shows in South America.

 

 

Set list wise... hmm. Giving that the US is VERY centered around hits ill just post the list of all her hot 100 entries and pick and choose from most likely to least likely. So from the top is the 100% most likely and the bottom is least likely

I am going to get a gold circle ticket but no friends are with me :unsure:... As I will fly all the way to London from Hong Kong that the return ticket already spent us around $650, a ticket cost around $250 is alright for me for sure as a fan but for my friends.... would be kinda too much :down: Hope it won't be too weird to be alone in such a great music festival. :pinch:

I’m going by myself as well. Diamond ticket area. I’m sure all will be well! There will be other fans around to get to know. And most of the day will be taken up with the music anyway.

Ahah I admit that I was wondering if I add sex and age or not, I did it just because it was on the profile. For sure it is not a very important information.
