Thats why I love JJG in her French work.

And David Foster and Kara DiaGaurdi in English they did their job as producers she may be Celine Dion but unless she's producing herself make her do her best possible work or else why should she pay you??

I wouldn’t mind Kara coming back. Even though she was so strict about pronunciation, the songs that came from her were amazing. Surprise a Surprise is stillone of my favorite songs to this day, Celine really tells a story with that song. Not that she doesn’t elsewhere, but’s it’s just difffent.

But then again, why shouldn’t she sing English songs in her québécois accent, even if it means the pronunciation isn’t always bang on? It’s like British singers singing with an American accent, pronouncing words like Americans do. People know how Celine talks now, and I think her little mannerisms,like this one, make her voice instantly recognisable. A lot of the time it’s what people comment on. Yeah her voice is recognisable to fans, I’m talking more about people who don’t know her voice quite as well as perhaps we do 😂

Not disagreeing with you, just flipping the coin for conversation. Although I do think sometimes the producers perhaps feel like they can’t correct her, like you said 👍

Nobody told Rihanna to open her mouth when she recorded "work" , she clearly doesn't sing clearly.

 

Nobody corrected "Adele" when she sings 'It don't matter"... isn't it a gramatical mistake?

 

I don't know why ppl are bothered by a 'uf"... every singer has its own singing manners.

 

And Céline has been well known for her "luuuuuuuuve" for a long time already. She probably put out all the "o" letters she got in for"anymoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore" .

Exactly! Whenever I hear a new Céline song I never think about her pronunciation... I just hear Céline.... why would she be someone else?

Kara songs were OK but Amazing doesn't come to mind.

Let's reserve amazing for such songs like IACBTTN or POL or TLYM or any one of the classics not mediocrity.
