They don't list the specific version on there, just the song name. And FYI, the new chart hasn't been updated yet to show her at #28, but it shows it on her chart history if you search on Billboard.

I so wish Celine could do the next Bond theme; it seems so strange that still hasn't happened.

 

It's too bad Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, among others) had to turn it down due to scheduling conflicts. He's from Trois-Rivières and if he were directing... well, just imagine how perfectly Quebecois that would be.

I don't know the official US AC chart position for Ashes, it comes out later today (Tuesday), but it looks like it didn't chart any higher than its peak of #22. Hopefully it only stayed at #22, and did not drop.

If it had been anyone else they would have been all over it...... Irritating! I really would love to know who she pissed off in the radio world to get blacklisted???? I don’t believe it’s solely due to age.

I think it's age plus the fact that she was played sooooo much in the 90's. During the Titanic era, many people couldn't listen to her anymooooore... and radio stations went along. Plus her anti-Bush stance on CNN (the take a kayak interview on Larry King) didn't help either imo. But regardless, very few 50 year olds are played on the radio and I'm glad Céline got an iTunes hit with Ashes - at 50!! :w00t: So AC can shove it! :giggle:
