"Ashes" - from Deadpool 2 - Official Topic

I can't say for sure... but I want to say that when this song hit, her monthly listeners on spotify was in the 3 to 4 mil area, not middle but low end. And I could be wrong, but anyway, I feel like I am sure it wasn't 4 mil yet. Since then she gained like 2 million listeners.. it's now at 6.2 (will update tomorrow morning I think). She's about 1.5 mil away from mariah. And she was increasing about 200k a day more or less, but this last one was almost 300 or 400k. in some days more she will have passed Mariah, and that's something since she is a much bigger singles artist, which plays better for streaming... I might be overstating the starting point,, if anyone knows or posted the monthly listeners at the start please let me know... but I'm sure it's grown close to 2 million if not more..And streaming wise, that's fantastic...

 

It was hovering around the high 4 million, low 5 million mark, and now it has been increasing. Up at least a million listeners per month now. :)

Or us having Ashes on repeat for 2 weeks? :giggle:

that's individuals listening per month. I imagine it is all the people who have listened to her music, not repeated.

great but have to say his remix of mhwgo was meh. He did not do much with the song except using a phrase of the song and playing it in full and then some standard house/trance beat. Hope he does something more creative with this song.

But i do think the mix is a bit tame... :shrug: Let's hope it'll get some airplay tho!! :clap:

Under the log in on the right side, you see the register option.

 

I can only see Celine's version but not the remix :hmm:

 

Scroll down to C, for Celine Dion. Next to Ashes there's an arrow, if you click on that 2 versions appear: the album and the remix

it was annoying to register for me too... You have to save the page or form or whatever, otherwise it just starts over. Hope that helps Edited by tomier

The original not the remix ..felt I needed to clarify that! Lol

So when will the remix be available to stream? It’s not bad and might get some plays due to Aoki... love their relationship over the past couple of years

 

Also when reading something yesterday about her return to the stage, a spokesperson said that Celine had plans to make it up to fans.... I wonder what plans they meant? It wouldn’t be coming back to the stage as that had already happened...

I honestly prefer this remix over the official

Ashes (Steve Aoki Deadpool Demix). Not a fan of Aokis remix at... This one should be mixed professionally and released as an official remix

This is what I see on AllAccess. So they're sending both versions and radio stations are free to choose whichever.

 

Personally not a fan of remixes so I think it's garbage.
