It should just be on sold units. Surely airplay and streaming is just promoting the song for it to be bought but hey ho! I guess we just have to think Celine has had her reign at the top so for me successful tours and top 10 albums worldwide is proof enough. And anyway singles are released to promote an album really 😁 3 Quote

And anyway singles are released to promote an album really 😁 Exactly...and with the way that streaming is calculated toward charting (which I'm still baffled by...I do not understand how they certify based on streams) it seems almost minuscule as where with airplay, it's very cut and dry. A radio station plays the song, it counts as one play for the charts. With the way that certifications are done these days, I've lost quite a bit of interest in following as closely as I used to; as much as I love the knowledge.
