Does the buys on iTunes of the remix and the view count of the video of the remix on Celine’s youube channel count towards the success of the original song or will it take away from it and be treated as a new single??

 

On UKMix they say:

 

"i know that remixes are counted towards the main version in digital sales... then it's called Digital Songs Chart... The Digital Track Chart counts each version separately.

 

I'm not 100% sure, but airplay will also be combined."

Yeah despite wanting more and hoping for a few live appearances and Sony pushing for the song.

 

It's safe to say that this song has reached a lot of new "fans"

And by the looks of it, it is doing AMAZING for Celine standards (the last years)

 

Now hoping they maintain the new "fans" with her next releases. They better need a good plan for her new album.

Yeah exactly. The charts were different then, and she was promoting it, interviews for tv and radio, I remember radio 2 playing it for instance. Really hate the charts system now.
