Exactly! We all now she's the best and that her voice is in top shape but in several countries she's no more relevant.

 

Of course I would love to see her in Portugal. She cancelled two concerts in a major stadium of Lisbon in 1999. Nowadays I don't know if she would sellout an arena here. That's probably why there were no shows in Portugal, Spain, Italy or Grece this year.

 

Ireland certainly brings her strong memories. I bet she'll perform there with a next tour.

I think it's very likely she will do a very little European tour next year again. I have heard rumors that she will attend the fashion show again next year in Paris so, she will perform there at least two times. My bet is for Dublin as well. All in all, she has to promote her English album as well here in Europe since it's one of the biggest market for her and her music.

 

And yes, she can definitely sell out one show in Spain. In Barcelona there's a stadium which holds ±17.500 people so, that's not huge... I bet she would give that city a boost with loads of tourists! I don't see Lisbon happening. She will definitely skip Belgium and the Netherlands as well I guess and I don't feel like she's coming back to Great Britain as well. I think she will move more to Middle-Europe like Prague, Vienna, Budapest and so on. Maybe she'll do one in the south of Germany. No Italy but I think she might do Spain... Maybe she will give 6-10 concerts in Europe and then go on to Asia for 20 shows.

In 1999 she performed on the runway of Kaitak Airport in Hong Kong. I didn't get to see her at that time because I was too young and didn't have money. So if she ever tour Asia again, Hong Kong and Bangkok of course would be my destination, to full fill my childhood dream.

The chances of Celine coming to Europe and only doing two shows in France are very slim. France is the bedrock of her European career.

I compiled all of my thoughts into a document where I created a possible 2018 performance schedule. I ended up with 59 shows in Vegas and approx. 15 shows in Asia. I felt the English language studio album should be released on or around June 8, 2018, and my reasons are described in the document. Can I just say, I love this document. You really did your homework on how international artist tour Asia. You know all the places they perform and the amount of performances the artists usually gave us. Except one thing, since Madonna tour Bangkok with 2 nights successful sold out performances in 2016, all the artists that came to Thailand intend to give more than just one night performance in Bangkok included Britney Spears with her latest tour.

 

Thailand is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world from trip advisor and many more. We have millions of tourists from around the world every year. If Celine really come to Bangkok for the first time, the press and the fans would go crazy for it. Moreover, I can see people from Europe, America and all around Asia who like to come to the beautiful beaches of Phuket, Samui and Krabi coming to the show in Bangkok first and have their summer vacation here in other provinces of Thailand. Therefore, Celine can easily sold out 2 nights performances in Bangkok but who knows , it's only speculation and you might be right.

 

Anyway, you did amazing on your

research. I'm sure lots of people from Asia who reads this would think the same. Please keep up the good work.

It was the Ex-Hong Kong International Airport. They changed it to the bigger and more modern Chek Lap Kok International Airport. The short gap before they have renovated the old one to the shopping center in 1998. Celine was the first singer ever and probably the only one to perform on its runway . With the view of the city on one side and the ocean on the other side onf the former terminal and Celine was at the height of her career, it was a very big news across Asia at the time. I agree with alot except the quote about Oceania gigs not doing well, the arenas were taken from there recommended end stage capacity, Celine had a very big stage and a very big sound tent at the back cutting off about 2.000 people from floor seating each gig so...

Well they all didn't sell out and Brisbane was less than 60% full. So if they would tour Asia, I can see them not including Oceania due to this, but who knows!

I personally would like the smaller venues than the stadium. And the Nice stadium concert sucked apparently. The crowd was huge and there were so many "non fans" there and the atmosphere sucked. From those that were there, they said that Céline clearly noticed that (I wasn't there)

I honestly don't think she would do France next year, especially if she does do Asia. Most likely, she would be in Vegas during the summer and Asia in the fall. I don't think she would ever spend the summer in Vegas, she wants to escape HOT summer there.

 

But yeah I am also personally hoping she won't do France next summer. That would kill my budget
