I’ve been receiving information on these shows for the past week and so have some others so hopefully it’s accurate. Personally I wouldn't have published anything on the internet until it had officially been announced. It's not about being transparent it's about not announcing things that may not be accurate and undercutting the official announcement if and when it comes.

According to my posts earlier today, I had announced that an Asia Tour would be officially announced by Céline's management tonight (in America). I was informed (by my source from AEG) that the official announcement will not be made tonight, and that this information was conflated with what "newsCeline Dion" posted on Facebook early this morning. However, regardless of when the official announcement is made, Céline is booked to perform at Tokyo Dome, Osaka Dome, and Nagoya Dome in Japan, as well as Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, IMPACT Arena in Bangkok, and CotaiArena in Macau next year. I was not provided with any specific dates for these shows, only that the tour is scheduled to begin in late June. My source also informed me that additional dates in China, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore are being negotiated, but are not yet finalized. Due to this, the tour announcement is not slated until early next year, since negotiations for several cities are still underway. On a final note, my source told me that there were initial plans to include dates in Ireland, the UK, Spain and Italy, but these plans were suspended. I am 100% confident in the credibility of my source, as they are directly connected to the promotion and scheduling of these shows. I apologize for disseminating information that was conflated and incorrect. If the show is supposed to coincide with the new English album it would make no sense not to come to the UK especially given the welcome she got here last summer.

I think it was the press that said she was looking at hotel rooms for her family.

 

Personally it makes no sense to me since she has people that find hotels and does all travel arrangements for her. I can't see her going between hotels and finding the best one for the family. I think this is all just a rumor.
