I think she will come to Ireland. She was here in 1988, 2008, and 2018 ends in an 8 too!!!!

I read yesterday that she is thinking about extending her Vegas contract to 2021.....

I don't care where the tour goes, I'll just go wherever I need to go to see her. If I need to save up for a while, I'll do it. But if there's not going to be a tour... Maybe I'll go to Vegas again. I just hope they spice it up a bit.

If she does ever perform in Latin America, Spain, et al, she really should include "Sola otra vez," "Amar haciendo el amor" and "Aun existe amor." The fact none of these were sung in Mexico during the TCWT still baffles me to this day.

 

The fact that she came to Spain to promote ANDHC album on TV in 2002 and she performed 3 songs but none of them were Aun existe amor, still flabbergasts me

That probably had more to do with Sony than with Celine's team, as the record label (I think) has the final word on which songs will be performed on each country during promotion. I could be wrong though.

 

Anyway, although the ANDHC era was stunning in terms of promotion, Sony had to make one of their nonsense mistakes: Releasing Aun Existe Amor as a promotional single in the US instead of Spain and Latin America

A fact that is very true is in Malaysia. Celine is much famous than Mariah due to those theme songs she sings and also those hits(UK hits). And also some of her non hits songs r famous too too for example I love you(I don't know why but indeed it is famous), I surrender(contestant in reality show always sing it). While for the hits part, mhwgo, tpol, batb,TT, iacbtmn, I'm Alive, ttwii, bylm,tlym, abm. With these 12 songs and some of the rare songs and new songs. She can make everyone sings with her that night in Malaysia.

In FIY era, there so many non single song that famous in Indonesia, just like in the Philippines that already mention. I remember when i was young and still listen to the radio, everytime I Change radio station is alway easy to find celine's song. I may add Send Me A Lover, The Power Of The Dream,and Dreamin of You, and after LTAL that song become famous is The Prayer solo version, Here There and Everywhere and It's hard To Say Goodbye.

I was watching something on TV the other day which was filmed in Dublin. I was wondering why I have never been to Ireland before. Maybe that could be my excuse!

Well I managed to do a few things but it was just too hot walking around. I also tend to loose my appetite when it's hot so I barely ate anything and it was partly the food I wanted to go there for. I had driven from the UK down to Lyon and across to Vienna so was also pretty tired by the time I got there which didn't help.

 

I'd like to go back one day when it is cooler, maybe around Christmas one year and go to the markets or something.

It's never too early for a new tour thread!

 

So let the speculation begin: where will Céline tour next year... Asia? Australia? North America? Europe again?

This time it should be a Africa Tour. I call it the Celine Hakuna Matata 2018 Tour. She has been to South Africa before but no tour to Africa can be complete without a stop over to Kenya :-)

 

She has a massive fan base here. My best friend and I are her biggest fans in Kenya. And we have envisioned her coming to Kenya as part of her Africa tour. Heck we came to UK in July - August 2017 so that we can watch 2 of her concerts (30th July London O2 Arena and 3rd August Birmingham BarclayCard Arena). Even the lady at the Kenyan UK visa application centre is a fan!

 

Celine Dion touring Africa in 2018 will be a dream come true :-)

I'm still very disappointed that she didn't go to Ireland this year - as a market, it's given her so much love over the years.

Has she extended Vegas until 2021, have I missed that?

 

If so, I'd be happy with that - I'm much more open to her extending Vegas by 2 years at a time rather than 7 years at a time.

 

I think we will get another large tour from her but I'm not sure it's reasonable expect her to do a 120-150 date world trek at this stage of her life.

I would love to see her get back to her days of $100m tours (which she can achieve through either 40 show mini tours or a combination of Vegas + what sheh did this year).

 

With this tour and the continuing success in Vegas, she is neck and neck with Madonna - as far as the most successful female touring act of all-time goes.

Yeah I'd rather she did mini tours- it would be fab if she did continent tours also. Tour over 3-4 months and spend rest of the year picking/ recording songs. Obviously this would be without vegas 😂
