Glad you got the ticket, I bought mine yesterday, it was a roller coaster like experience, the first attempt I wasn't succeed, the section I want fully booked, I kept refreshing it till the section available again. And it was like a gambling coz we can not choose our own seat, luckily that I got a good seat in my section. this morning the section I want already sold out.

I wonder how aware Celine is of the hoopla around the ticket pricing in Asia. I mean, I don't speak any of the languages, but following Celine-related content on social media, it's not difficult to see that most of the coverage is surprise/ frustration/ outrage over these prices from various media outlets across a number of countries in question. So I wonder - how much does she know?

 

In the past she always stayed away from the business side of things - at least that was the public "company line".

But now? She must be more aware of what's going on. She made that clear over the summer (remember "c'est moi le boss"?), and she made it clear with the facebook post over the show cancellations on Sat.

She knows what's going on, both on and OFF the stage, much more so than she ever did before.

So I wonder - just how involved is she?

The "cost of production"? Unless we see her bringing something like the TCWT this summer, if it stays the same as the past two years, I doubt to call that much a "production". Which is nothing but what they do in Vegas but on wheels (and they don't bring the full orchestra)

 

And so? Do they rise workers' salaries this month so that they can attend the costly shows? I think they didn't keep in mind that aspect

 

We'll have to wait and see which kind of show she will bring this year. If it's a new concept of tour, I'll eat my words. But I highly doubt they're gonna change anything of it now...

Even though the show isn't as big as TCWT, shipping a stage, the equipment, all the costumes, instruments etc etc is still a large operation that costs a pretty penny! If she had more dates in Jakarta, then the costs would have been lower, cos the expedition would have been devided over the nights. It's a big shame that the tickets are really expensive. But in all, no one works for free, and I don't think what Céline 'earns' will be more than let's say a night in Paris or London.

Today is the first day for public sales in Manila, the Philippines.

 

8 hours after official public sales opening: available around 1,941 seats.

 

Total seats for this concert are not specified in the website, but I assume it will be similar to Madonna's 16,000 seats in 2016.

 

Therefore, we can assume that the tickets possibly have been sold around 88% in 8 hours.

How many musicians do you have in the orchestra

 

You have to pay them for rehearsals and concert + hotel and travelling if they are not locals.

 

That has a price and does not come cheaper that firework and dancers.

 

For Madonna you pay a huge star and entertainment

 

For Celine you pay a huge star and the orchestra

 

Both have outrageous pricing. Same economics.
