I love how she referred to Annie Lennox and knowing the Diva album off by heart from A-Z. That was such a real moment for me. I think other artists she references at times such as Credence, Doobie Brothers, Michael Jackson, Sia, Lady Gaga... they sound genuine but the Annie Lennox comment was one of the first times she has specifically spoken of one album of an artist like that. Was an amazing and captivating interview I agree.

 

(Oh and when one journalist says “so whatever it was that made you cancel in 2014, are you over that now?” and she graciously says eff you my husband died lol)

I know, that comment about Annie Lennox and being so specific about one of her albums, her Diva album, that made my day! Annie is also an enormous artist with solid ethics and deep values such as Céline and I admire her to death. Her songwriting skills are flabbergasting. Like Céline quoted one of her lyrics from her song "Cold", "dying is easy it's living what scares me to death". That's sooo very much Annie Lennox :wub:

It's not the first time. I remember long time ago (I think it was in 1996-'97), Céline praised Annie's "Diva" album on some radio interview. It's great to hear that again from her. I admire Annie Lennox and I would really love that Céline collaborates with her (more seriously than the last time on the single "Sing").

I'm so pissed to read some comment about her coming to my country, some people said she's no longer relevant for a long time, nobody want to go to her concert.

 

There's also a comment that said her ticket concert are cheaper than Katty Perry's ticket. The ticket price are not even announced yet, they only announce that the ticket price is start from 1.5 million rupiah (112 USD), and some people assume that's the only price.

Katty's ticket price are start from 900.000 Rupiah (67 USD) to 5million rupiah (376 USD), and with that price still many seat are empty, the 5 million seat are only sold 378 ticket to this day, 714 of it are still available to purchase. The concert itslef will be held in April.

Yes I believe she will sells out, to be honest, I was surprised that people at the gym talk about it and wanted to go to the concert.

But on the others side, many fans I know personally who has been waiting for so long and really want to go too, they can not afford it.

Glad she said that, or she could get dragged into a controversial debate. As Macau and Taipei are part of China (while some people in Taiwan may not agree), if she said 7, it would not be correct anyway.

ALL the popular talent shows in Asia have used this song (such as The Voice, Got Talent, or other idol shows, in the Philipines, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.)

 

So I hope she will sing this song in her Asia tour. It will please Asian fans so much.

 

And "To Love You More" as well. It's the OST in a Japanese series, and it's widely known in Asia. This song CAN'T BE MISSED!!!

It is too expensive, I think this is the most expensive for solo artist, we are very shock and sad, but we will go anyway, it's just we can not afford the best seat.
