I think its so cute that she still takes Rene's picture with her!

 

She outta take it! Without Rene there wouldn’t be Céline. Maybe she would’ve made it with another manager or maybe not, but she wouldn’t be the exact Céline we know and love without him mentoring her for all those years. Yes she’s a talent with her voice but Rene also mapped out her career like a masterpiece. Even without being her husband and lover I think that pic would be been in her dressing room for being her show business guide and mentor all those years.

Celine’s voice is getting stronger and stronger!

 

What a total delight it must be for the Asian fans to finally get to see her, and to hear her in such good condition vocally.

 

With regards to her sinuses and throat condition...Going from city to city with different weather conditions can have an adverse affect on the voice. However, I’m sure she’s taking extra precautions to ensure she stays well for the tour.

 

Really really really really hope there are set list changes for the Aus/NZ leg of the tour. She has such a large repertoire of songs and I think she should take advantage of that. Like she said in 2013 on the Jonathan Ross Show...’my garden is beyond fruits and roses’....show us your garden Celine!!

 

I don’t expect there to be though.

 

Keep up the great shows Celine!

 

They should invite Barry Gibb to perform Immortality with her ❤️

I’m having a hard time seeing the Rene photo. Is it the photo clipped onto the left side of the mirror? If so as I said I’m having a hard time actually seeing Rene in the photo. When I blow it up it becomes grainy and for some reason all I can think about when I look at it is the opening outfit haha...omg what is wrong with me lol

I think that too! Without Rene she would maybe be a star in Quebec but she wouldn't have certainly not risen to the level she is now. Rene is a rolemodel for every manager. His carrer steps for Celine leveled her into the Olymp. But without her total trust in his work that would not have happend even. But not only artisticly! Also his decisions for which companies she should make advertising - many of then for years and years like Chrysler. And of course topped with that Las Vegas deal. At a time where Las Vegas was more like the last station of every artist performing here, declining tourism - a real masterpiece from the business point of view. Although my heart also broke as Celine told, that she wanted to get out of the contract because of RCs birth and her wish being more mother than singer.

Yes Javito, you're right but Réné learned the lesson. In 2007, D'Elles flopped in francophone territories. We knows that affects Céline and that why we have a big promotion of Sans Attendre in 2012 and mini tours since 2013. The exclusivity of the contract is only for the U.S now and only for 70 show per year. I think René realizes the good and bad impact of Vegas for her.

I'm very happy that Celine is finally "available" now, she is no longer exclusively in Vegas like it was the case form 2003 to 2008. For her European fans she does Mini Tours, which is awesome, and in case that's not enough for us, we can still go to Vegas and see her there. Good to know that we have these options.

 

I would like her to release an album every year and do a Mini Tour to promote it, and thus being able to try new things on stage and also bring old songs back and give them a "second life". That is a really nice concept.

 

And of course, every Mini Tour should be professionally recorded and released on Blu-ray and CD! We need these moments and memories captured!
