I can't believe we have zero footage of Celine leaving her hotel. What's up with that? This is different then her other tours. I am really craving those hotel videos and I thought we would for sure get a glimpses of RC, Nelson and Eddy by now. I guess this ain't gonna be like Paris or the Taking Chances Tour.

Yeah she really wants to be private. She uses private exits from the hotels so nobody can see her at all.

 

I think RC is in Vegas still though. Not sure but I think he is since there was a picture new picture posted of him in Vegas this morning (last night Vegas)

Btw, Her voice tonight was thick, like way thicker than usual it was thick and strong like ive not heard since 2002 THATS mature vocals. Not as powerful as 2002 but very thick and mature sounding and i love it

I dont mind the falling into you dance. It is interesting. I don't know if i like how obvious sounding the playback is. Very nuanced with same details as the studio version.

 

Personally, the few times she did do this fully live were phenomenal and some of the closest attempts at replicating the same clarity and softness in her tone from the studio recording to live.

I don't mind the FIY playback, obviously it would be amazing to hear live again, but due to the choreography... The playback track that I do mind is the TYLM track, specifically the last chorus: when she sings "You will" instead of "Can't you," and when she goes low for "everything you need" yet the backup singers are still going higher.

the thing that she does with Kiss, that Youhouhour, Youhour...i do not like it, but for the rest it brought me back to last year and i hope she noticed that the crowd got bored during the prince medley. They can easily fit in any song from last years list

My friend attended the Macau second show, and she was sitting on the side, mid-level. She said quite many around her area were playing with their phones throughout the concert, especially during those not too well known songs. She said some people seemed like just going there to hear My Heart Will Go On, or just wanna be there so they could put on Instagram or other social media that they have been to this world famous singer concert.

 

Macau is like Vegas, a casino city. I hear from another friend who works for the casino that they have hold up quite many tix for their VIPs, so apparently some people who are there were given tickets and may not necessarily be real fans.

 

Anyway, back to the concert, my friend who attended is also a fan herself, but she doesn't follow this forum nor checking Instagram closely. So she didn't know about the concert setlist. She loves the setlists, loves the song arrangements, and got emotional at various parts. She also found that it was so touching for Celine to talk about the passing of Rene, then sang Recovering, all by myself, and followed by at seventeen, a new day has come, and lastly Unison, it was like showing her journey, and how she is turning a new chapter, and well supported now by her music/touring family.

I share that feeling too. I found Recovering quite a boring song to me, but seeing it in concert, I got a very different feeling and really appreciate it. I didn't like At seventeen before as well, but somehow this arrangement makes me more pleasing for me.

I LOVE everything she sings. But honestly guys... Don’t you think she has an incredible repertoire of songs that she can choose from to perform? Is it that bad want her to sing some of those live?

 

For example she have sang live almost every theme song from a movie but TYLAM it’s like non existent. Not nice.

thanks for sharing! she s really getting into the show and she is happy and funny in her speeches. Btw she looks so good ( except the hair) and i think she used botox because her jawline is so smooth ( and the rest of her face too). Nevertheless, it really did her well !

I get it some people adore EVERYTHING Celine does. I just don’t appreciate that when someone says something that they don’t care about or like, they get jumped all over on. It’s really not fair when said fan says that they don’t care for the dance for FIY or that they think the setlist was subpar to them get jumped all over on, called a fake fan or made to feel bad about their opinion. This is a forum, all kinds of different views and opinions and everyone of them should be welcomed.
