Was watching the Facebook video link, and thought the crowd was actually pretty lively too.

 

Here's an article in chinese, talking about her concert. It says how she has shown her Queen ability, singing big hits one after another beautifully, and ended the evening with the all time famous song MHWGO.

By the way, when Celine talked about Deadpool, it was a bit weird for her to reference the movie opened at #1 in Japan few weeks ago, and then thanking the audience for that. Maybe she meant to say Macau or Hong Kong or China.... Lol

yes and i have to say the stage looked better too. Maybe when the venue is huge they have to use a bigger and less spectacular setup? She really wowed the crowd and i am sure many of us with perfect singing and i noticed she was much more relaxed and in tour-mode - which is comfortable and happy

Why would you just record 1 show?

 

While she has a second night, or 3 in Taipei.

Well I guess I just felt curious about the comments with her voice getting better and she being more interactive with the audience and it's true, her voice in Macao is way better than before

 

How she changes from a tired, extremely nasal and twangy voice that goes almost slurring the words, to a clear, powerful voice within a couple of days or the next day, that's a mystery to me still Must depend on her mood on each day?

Celine has never been a opening night person. She usually starts decent and goes up! It's crazy to me how she gets better your think the other way around.

I really like the little turn she does in PQTMAE when she sings "d'autres dansent tes heures" , and the "look at you, look at you!!"

 

It's these little differences makes the listening more bearable when you have listened the same songs hundreds (thousands) of times

I will always say you really need to be able to experience the show in person to be able to 100% fully judge her voice condition. Phone recordings (audio/video) are amazing for us to have, but can only do so much when it comes to breaking down every note she's singing. It will vary greatly based on the venue size and reverb from the location, the person's recording device, etc. Tokyo Dome was HUGE...Macau much smaller. That alone can make a big difference in what we're hearing.

 

A lot of people were concerned about her voice when she returned to Vegas in May, but I can say first hand, there was absolutely NOTHING to worry about.

 

Anyway, just my thought on the issue. She's doing amazing...so proud of her and so happy for all of the Asian fans who have been waiting for these incredible moments!

It's about time for her to shine in concert! Either with a diet of "Tell Him" or at least allow her to do the interlude leads instead of Barnev for once!

I so wanted to have 2017 on dvd but if she ia gonna continue singing like this i would not mind to have one of these concerts on bluray..

Hope my 2 cents input helps, since I have extra time in the airport.

 

In Tokyo she started the day super super early, insane agenda.

 

She must have been exhausted and had the 1st show butterflies. However, she sounded really good, minus few notes here and there & she played with her songs.

 

She seemed happy (super nice natural skin glow on top), but clearly a bit tired (she tends to go more French and mess up her English);I felt she also lost all the break-xtra kgs (side note).

 

The arena had a reverb/echo which would ocasionally distract strongly, but impress the rest of the time.

 

The stage was easy to follow, not too long and no seats on the side area.

 

People loved the show, every bit of it!

The crowd behaved totally different compared to Macau: less vocal, less dancing, but all floor level stood up 90% of the time! (still cannot feel one toe). Never experienced something like this.

 

For Macao, clearly she was well rested and focused on hitting the high notes. I felt more live was there.

 

The show started low, the crowd did not even stand up for the opening songs! Just as I was thinking these people are meh (some front rowers left after 10 minutes), peeps placed some lights up.

 

When PQTME began, the arena was all stary, she felt our emotion and we felt hers and from then on, it was warm and just Waw.

 

The arena is almost as big as the Paris one, but the seats and stage are lower, so there is a super clear view from most seats.

 

For the last segment, the crowd from the back floor come on the aisles, danced their way around till the end, pretty impressive.

 

Still amazed about how she caries on during whatever issue(mic, cable, belt).

 

She is one brilliant performer, with such an epic voice...what a privilege to get to experience her show.

I think only reason it was filmed wasn't for celines team, but for that Japanese tv special that her team must have okayed.

Anyone else, believe that she keeps going back from wireless mic to wired mic alot, not only cause she likes the cord?

 

In her most recent interview with Larry King after she had the twins he asked her about if the Vegas environment is still difficult for her to sing in, and she said, "no". And went on to say because of the custom humidity bubble on her stage directing on her. She then said, " you have to be careful tho, microphones don't like humidity that much, but it's okay if we have to change a mic every night we will". I wonder If there's a reason to go back and fourth between the wireless and wired microphone, she says she likes the cord but if that was the only case you would think she would have stayed with the corded mic all time, but she seems to try to go back to wireless alot and AGAIN back to the corded one randomly after using the other one for a bit of time.

I’m wondering if NZ shows might get filmed...first performances for over 21 years...3 shows = plenty of footage to choose from...and on the seating plan an unusual blank area just to the front side of the stage (for equipment?) I don’t know, but in all the times i’ve been to this venue i’ve never seen that on a seating plan. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see...it’s going to be a great 3 nights!!

DO AN ENCORE JUST ONE LITTLE SONG AFTER MHWGO LIKE LAST YEAR!!

 

PEOPLE WERE STILL LIKE WAITING FOR YOU FOR SEVERAL MINUTES (FELT LIKE IT ENDED?? REALLY?? LOL) AND NOTHING HAPPENED T_T
