I think what they were trying to do is to separate the intro music with “The whisper in the morning” part... so the audience will get more excited to hear and finally see her appearance. To be more dramatic. If she starts with the hummming (which i love), the magic is lesser. But actually the audience loved it in 2017 and they got goosebumps.... until Celine start her first lyric.

Why ? It holds no form of hit or recognition in Oceania so why keep it when it was clearly created as a lip sync track for Asia. It would make alot of sense to switch it for Immortality which is actually recognised in Oceania

1) its on the compilation, last year every track has been performed from Un peu de nous so this year they have mostly followed the same. Immoratlity hasnt been performed yet. 2) as the bee gees who the song was written by and star in are huge in Australia it would make sense

I dont know why i said that lol. She will keep the medley and i dont think she will add LMBTL, i think the heart attack from that girl impersonating Celine hurt my memory. She may add Taking Chances and TFTEISYF and get rid of say... Falling Into you and To love You More. Maybe she could do a dance of TFTEISYF instead of FIY. And switch out To love you more and maybe do Taking Chances either after The Reason or in the Uptempo section. As for he addition of Immortality its almost certain and probably will come into play either after Ashes or maybe as a final encore

I don’t know why but this intro does sound really Asia though. I wish they would do more with lights and visuals during that intro to build it all up more when she starts singing “The whispers in the morning...”.

I actually really enjoy the Falling into you dance. It’s a great number and an unexpected highlight in the show. I love what they did with the dress, Pepe taking it off her and she falls into him. That’s a great idea and it looks awesome! I also like the dresses for that number.

The guitar solo is truly iconic idk why everyone hates her insanely good scat Singing. Oh well as for FIY i love that too im just not looking forward to them switching it for that curtain in Jakarta

But remember, these are bootleg recordings, so do not fully reflect what I've heard with my own ears being in place (of course, she sounded much better there).

 

And please, if you decide to listen, do it carefully. In my opinion concert in Tokyo was really, really good and her voice was clean and strong. Of course, as always, almost everything we do can be done better or in a different way

 

As someone wrote here earlier, the room had a specific acoustics with reverb and it was a big problem for bootleg type recordings.

 

The recordings also contain a reaction of an audience, which in my opinion was very active, such as clapping to the rhythm throughout the duration of "That's the Way It Is", "Love Can Move Mountains" (exactly like in Europe), or even on the Funky segment, which I did not notice in such intensity in Macao.

 

And maybe in Macao Céline sounded even better, I do not know, I was not there unfortunately, but I was in Tokyo where she sounded great and I'm glad that this concert was recorded. Now I am looking forward for professional materials from Japanese television, but please let somebody record it for us here, PLEASE?!
