Before she used to look off to the side at Rene for comfort in a interview now it seems like it’s Pepe and her whole glam team. Celine and Elise have always been friends I always wonder why they aren’t this close. Oh well, good for her if she’s happy. It was obvious from the beginning that Pepe was gay and that’s why she’s been so comfortable being around him. It didn’t take a genius to work it out. I totally understand that his sexuality is his business and that no one should feel forced to come out but come on they’ve had ample opportunity to be straight with the tabloids, trashy or not, that’s irrelevant, he’s definitely used this to his advantage in terms of building his status and forwarding his career, there’s no doubt in my mind about that. He never had to discuss his sexuality, that’s his business. Having said that, I don’t know how anyone is shocked at all that he’s gay, I’m mean it was obvious since the beginning... Now if Celine’s best friend happened to be someone like John Mayer for example who has a known past as being a “playboy” then I could assume the speculation of them being an item. Yes, we see him like gum stuck under her shoes sometimes, like her shadow, but I'm just glad she found comfort with someone after the sadness of losing someone like René. Everyone should deserve "that hand" to hold and that someone to give you a hug, and not everyone has that luck on those hard moments Yes, I'm glad she has Pepe, and Naomi, and in general I totally understand why her circle of close friends is probably very limited to people she works / worked with. One, she can't very well go out and have any semblance of a normal social life in the kind of anonymity we all enjoy, which obviously limits her ability to meet people outside of her professional circle. Two, she does work that requires one to be very emotionally open and vulnerable with your colleagues. It's not like working an office job. Artists put their whole selves into what they do, and can't have the kind of emotional "separation of church and state" between their private selves, and their professional selves, that most of us have in "regular jobs".That's why I think so many artists marry artists, actors marry actors, musicians marry musicians, etc. It's very emotionally intense work and it's like being in an emotional pressure cooker with someone all the time. A week on set (in a film shoot, a stage show, etc) is like a month in real life. Everything is intensified, accelerated, and it's like "dog years" in a sense.
