I mean, yes she is almost 50 so does Jlo or Gwen Stefani...she had a tough year and thats takes a toll on you, stress, kids, work, grieving...but we are so used to see HQ camares and photoshoped photos that it realy strikes me as a surprise, specially consideing how great skin she had.she always looked older...even in her 20's she looked way older, but tonight? wow, and her hair and make up? aint helping....I am 27 years old and everyone who knows me will say I have a ''baby face'' and that I look younger than my age. Today I was in bar and wanted to take a photo of a friend of mine, but the camera was on selfie mode! The lighting was bad and I looked like a mess! Tired and much older than I am/usually look. Same way, few weeks ago Celine looked radiant at the Met Gala. In the video you just posted she looks tired. It's all about the camera, angle, and - most importantly - lighting! Comparing this performance to last year's, it's like her voice was on two totally different planets. There always seems to be some cold or something pop up when she performs live at these award shows, it's very unlucky. I think I would have prefered an HD live television version of some of her recent Vegas performances of the song to this one...but this one is different so that's what makes it special. Quote

I can't believe some people here are saying the whole performance was lipped. Clearly it is not as some of the words she sang weren't clear and she had a tiny stumble in the beginning. It was a beautiful and emotional performance I just listened to the whole performance. This wasn't lipped at all.. okay maybe some small parts like OOooon in the end.. but for the rest..definately not lipped. I have to say it did not touch me, but the whole setting is beautiful .. as if she came underneath a giant sea squid. The dress like a heart, very haute couture! Having said that, i have heard her singing better in Vegas and then it really touched me. I miss emotion. But maybe because I have heard the song dozens and dozens of times.. But she definately has a queen status lately! And people love her more then ever! And that's great! I haven't watched the video yet I just received it and tried to get it up as fast as possible but that's basically how it went down.
